  1. I can't believe that with all of the issues going on that they f'd you like that. It's well known that they have had issues with the trannmissions, clutches, and driveshafts. I'd be pissed too.
  2. That was funny. Especially the conversation at Shell afterwards....
  3. Makes it hard to go out and do that then. There were a few of the kids of guys that were out back then. A few of them made it on here and went out once they had their own toys. That's what made me feel old one night. Friend looks at me and says "That's so and so's son" I remembered when he was much younger. Kind of cool to have the varying ages to get a feel for "The good old days". Everyone has their ideas of that, but nothing like rolling out to the east side and finding something along the way to play with. Track only for me these days, but it was a hell of a good time back then.
  4. Damn. I guess it's all perspective. I was thinking more like '01. I missed out on a lot of the "later", to me, stuff. Nothing like standing around in 30 degree weather to see a couple of 12-13 second cars make a pass on 40.
  5. Umm....who would say that Purdue is a better football job?.....No f'ing way. Maybe money would be better, but I wouldn't bet on that either.
  6. What's the hold up?......Searching for a good tuner
  7. Buy the C6Z and sell me the C5Z for next to nothing....
  8. Sweaty, shirtless, hairy man hugs? If so, I'm in!
  9. The real question here is, Why do you care? Kid is obviously dumb or trying to be funny. Either way, it's the internet. You know what your car has and who cares what those idiots say.
  10. Very true. Especially since I was wondering if they deserved to be ranked so high after losing the players that they did.
  11. Innovation, not money drove his cars. Finding "cheaper" ways to go fast was the way to do it. You don't see that now, because to keep up you need the expensive parts. A good friend of mine's uncle was friends with Grumpy and they were at the NHRA event this year that honored him. Friend said that everyone was drooling over the "fake" Grumpy cars and that ESPN walked right past his real car without a second glance. Part of me is mad about that, but the other part says "Damn, he really did do it right". No one expected anything out of his car(s), but they ran with the best of them!
  12. It seemed like Smith and Scott would dribble for a second, then throw up garbage later in the 2nd half. They are better than that and Puke decided to actually rebound in the 2nd half, so it was one and done on the offensive end for OSU. I honestly didn't know what to expect out of OSU this game, but they played well enough to be ahead for most of the game at Cameron Indoor. Definitely surprised me a little. Thomas is still a scoring beast by the way.
  13. He did some work on Mike's tranny out of his C5Z as well. It still works fine.
  14. When I was looking at 2011 Mustangs they had a cloth seat, basic package 5.0 there. It didn't have crank windows, but I don't think many do. It was under 30K. Thinking 28 or 29. That did have the optional 3.73 gear though.
  15. It definitely looks like a panic move from someone who hadn't ever dealt with that before. Wheels straight, wheels straight, then OH SHIT 45 degrees to the right and land.....oops. Luckily the guy he was racing wasn't too fast and was able to stop before it got really bad.
  16. So we can watch youtube videos while you are tuning our cars?....Awesome.
  17. That would probably be one of the places to look. Maybe Tickets Galore or one of the other brokers around town as well.
  18. That is going to cost a good bit.
  19. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they get it taken care of for you guys.
  20. It's 2:27 and Michigan still sucks.......
  21. Only problem is there won't be enough of the car left to paint........
