  1. Used to be the hotness?.......Still one of my favorite wheels for them and they aren't on every fox-body like the draglites.
  2. I really like this. Should be a nice little surprise when it hits the street/strip. I need to see it in action.
  3. Don't get an 03 to daily drive. It could be done in the snow, but even stock it would be a pain in the ass. The worthless traction control in those would keep you in one spot and with it off, the low end torque would make it interesting. Not something that I would choose to drive year round. There are a few reasons why I have two cars and that is one of them.
  4. I understand that, but that is an existing part of your compensation while married. A promotion or raise that isn't a given, isn't. Why is that part of the payment?
  5. Every single time this comes up I already have plans. Can't really break these either. Family in town.
  6. I fully understand the implications, I just don't have to agree with all of them. I'm sure he got married under the impression that he wouldn't have to deal with a cheating wife and subsequent legal issues. He and I are both more than intelligent enough to understand all of the legal implications, but damn some of them just seem to be over the top. Nobody said that we had to agree on them, which is what is clear in this thread. No one likes that side of the marriage and most don't agree with how it turns out in the end if it goes south. It is nice to have the details put out there for those looking into it though. I don't plan on getting divorced now or ever, but I have a feeling that most people don't get married to get divorced. One last thought, why is it that women can get a portion of future raises that the man acquires after the divorce? She isn't around for those and telling me that "she was supportive of him while he was working towards that" isn't going to satisfy me.
  7. Those aren't his feelings or words, they are mine. He isn't complaining about caring for his kids and neither am I. I am trying to make the point that in no way does this woman deserve the amount that she receives based on what she did. All of your contract talk is funny. You make it seem like marriage isn't about love and respect, but business. That's my point. There should be a clause stating that if one of the two parties involved decides to ruin the relationship by cheating multiple times and then breaking the "contract", that they don't get to reap the benefits of your said "contract". Unfortunately, that isn't the way that this works. Bottom line is that you know the facts about what the laws are due to obvious reasons. I have opinions on it, that have zero effect on those facts. I don't claim to know all of the facts, but I am unfortunately aware of a few that I don't agree with. If someone is getting divorced make sure to get a good lawyer.
  8. It's obvious that you see marriage as a "business contract" which is sad. It kills me that he pays for most of the things for the kids already and has to give this fucking worthless whore money that most likely isn't ever even used on the kids. She deserves nothing. If marriage really was a business contract, then she wouldn't get shit since she was the one who broke the contract by being a loose bitch. Just saying.
  9. Not Tim, but a guy I work with just went through this. His asshole still hurts from the raping that he got! Not to mention that she got half of his 401k, alimony for a few years, child support until they are 18, he pays for all insurance/medical expenses, and the kids spend 1/2 of the time with him. Fucking kills me. He gets fucked because she decided that she needed to whore it up while he was at work.
  10. I have one but I am also out of blades.
  11. I did see that . How hard did she hit that car? Looks like it was close to an entrance based on the signage in the background too! Crazy bitch. Hell, there's a news story on a guy that sent a text to his friend saying "I need to quit texting before I die in a car accident". He then proceeded to run off the road and into a ravine. He was able to talk about the incident 6 months later and is lucky to be alive. People seem to be more worried about everything but paying attention to the road.
  12. I really don't know what I would have done if that were mine, but I'd imagine that after the initial shock wore off I might have lost my mind. How in the hell do you ramp the island and hit that car?!!! Drivers license is now revoked along with a check for $60K to the owner.
  13. Guy was grabbing and tossing like a champ!!
  14. Nice. I laughed a little too loud at my desk on that one.
  15. No need to put the toy first, unfortunately. Nothing like getting it done and having to get rid of it Hopefully it works out to where you can keep it.
  16. It's a coupe with only control arms and 4xx wheel. It's going to spin. Better drag radials will help for rolling starts, but some better suspension pieces would really help at the strip.
  17. Is that a belt or gear drive powerdyne? Sounds like a few supsension tweaks and good tires are in need now.
  18. Was that a 150 hit? Nothing like nice cool air to help that heaton out!
  19. Did your stock motor let go? Or are you just building for when that may happen?
  20. Already set the preload. Had to buy an in/lb wrench for that.
  21. Does anyone have a dial indicator with a magnetic base that I could borrow, so that I can set backlash on my rear end?
  22. Maybe you shouldn't drive then............
