I actually Googled that wheel today to show a guy at work.He was talking about getting wheels for his Lexus and I said you got to do the Ronal Bears.A couple of guys laughed but he had never seen them so he didn't get it.He was in disbelief when I found the picture.

Some how the Evo turned up No. 2 on the most stolen car list.I didn't think they brought enough in the U.S to get that.The Escalade beat it out.My point is how's insurance rates.That could be a factor if money is in the equation.

I work for Germain Lexus you could have brought it to us.There are 3 or 4 guys besides me that work at Lexus that are on the board.I don't know why you would want to take it to a "stealership" though.They just sell the car and probably maintain and repair more of them than anyone else in the City.You need to call me if you need anymore work and we can get it taken care of.I don't want to put down any of the other shops that have been mentioned I just think with a car like that you need to find someone that you are comfortable with to do the work.I agree with not just taking it in to a dealership and dropping it off without knowing someone.I even requested a certain tech to do the Free first oil change on my IS300 today.

Aguy I know ran13.9 bone stock without even a air filter change.It was a 6spd but made 1 pass and that was it.

I got a "failure to control" ticket when I was young(17 years old).I took my Dad and his friend who is a Lawyer with me because I had to got to court since I was a minor.The "Judge" said maximum penalty $1000.00 and 6 months in jail.I was scared to death.My Dads friend walked up to the bench and they wispered back and forth a little while and I walked out paying nothing with the ticket getting thrown out.The maximum is always a lot worse than what you get.

Yea I was at Classic by Elite looking at his cars a long time ago.He had a Cobra kit that he had a Viper engine and 6 spd in,a carbed 351W and one with a EFI 302.I love those cars but with 3 kids, the 2 seater doesn't work anymore.Oh well, when the kids move out.

I have a 5 yr old boy and a 9 yr old girl that fit great in the backseat then my 13 yr old son rides beside me.I used to have to take the 2 kids to the sitters with one car then go back and get my 2 seater to go to work.At the time my wife was going into work at 5:30 am and I went in at 8:00 am so i had to take the kids.I would agree the C5 and C6 are worlds above my Fox Body in comfort as is an SN95.

Supply and Demand.I wouldn't pay $20k over sticker but I've been the 2 seater route already and I am too old for another one so a Corvettes out.The Mustang does have Shelbys name on it though.It's an American Muscle car so it'll go down then back up.

It all depends on the employees and the company.You find crooks everywhere so you really have to find a place you trust.One thing to do is to ask the Shop to give you your old parts back then they know you aren't the average smuck.You don't have to take the parts just look at them and throw them away at the shop if you want.I have worked a Dealerships for almost 16 years and have seen people fired for not changing parts but I've seen the "quick lube" scams many,many times.I think it happens more at those places because people are in a hurry to get out of there and think about parts inventory.What are the odds they have the fuel filter in stock for every vehicle that rolls in there every day.I also heard thet the average ticket at those places is around $69.00 because of upselling so the $19.99 goes out the window.If you think about it you can't run a business and be profitable doing $19.99 oil changes all day long.In the Dealerships they say Fixed Ops pay the electric bills so the Salesman can make the Co. money.

My neighbor did something called a "fresh start".He walked away from $100k in credit card debt and negative equity from a repossessed car but kept his house.I guess that was the only payment he had been making.He got a loan on a car about 2 months later but I bet the interest rate is ridiculous.I say call your creditors and work out a payment plan and pay them off then get the house.
