  1. Well, I'm going to scold you real good and negative rep you for being a dishonorable bastard. Just you wait!
  2. You've missed the mark. I understand you're feeling a rustle right now. This douche-bag on CR, Miller - walkin' roun like he's King Tut - slapping plates out of waitresses hands and shit. "Clumsy bitch! Got liquor on my shirt! Ruined a good shirt and police gonna think I'm a drunk. I demand lifetime coupons!" Or "There was a hair in that! Gimme a free meal" "Sir, our entire staff is bald. Some of them even have cancer". Give me a free meal anyway! Tell'em I'll make a donation to the graveyard!" You live a in a different city and know shit about me. I take very good care of friends, family, acquaintances and most strangers. I just like to find a deal on higher ticket items. Is that Ok with you?
  3. Whose this faggot with the tuba?
  4. I've resurrected the turd and began on the interior plastic and vinyl. Had years of smoke and cigarette marks on it (who throws a lit butt on the dash?) I'm going to try restoring the dash before replacing just because I found some cool stuff on youtube. I've used some "plastic welding" kit with some success and it's fun to mess with. Here's what I pulled out of the car: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=794&pictureid=6942 Welded and cleaned up. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=794&pictureid=6941 This is one piece I did last week from start to finish. Welded a crack on it, sanded lightly, primed, painted, sanded and painted. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=794&pictureid=6944
  5. You sob... I guess agree to agree with a 1/2 disagree.
  6. You can go to Jolly pirate donuts and take a two hour shit for all I care.
  7. Right, but it's not like I'm withholding a ton to receive some broke-dick check I don't care if I get a little kick back and I didn't give them shit either. Win win.
  8. In the world of dealerships and furniture stores I don't know of many m&p operations. Only small furniture stores I know of are the ones on Morse run by Indian guys.
  9. Never done that but will. I need a few things for spring.
  10. Bartering and dealing is not only fun but beneficial. You just got married so start practicing.
  11. I got mine in 5 days. Came yesterday. Just a little pad to the savings account. Silly lulzy Logan. There are such things as credits.
  12. This thread is to share stories with each other on how you're getting ahead, one small leap at a time (or failing and we lulz). It' not being douche-e but trying to get the best discounts/advantages and sharing how you did so. Does anyone feel as though the guys getting closer to retirement are losing their touch with the technology barrier? You'll see what I mean. Dealership: Went to get my complementary oil change with a certain dealership. It was hell getting scheduled (three weeks in advance). When I get there (during work hours) they say they forgot to update inventory and had no filter. I immediately opened up on the representative and ask for satisfaction for my drive, time and missed servicing. He says "my hands are tied" and offers me a tire rotation. I thanked him in my head for this and asked for management. I stated I was pissed, I'm missing work, if I have to come back in two weeks I'll be over on my service on a new car (expressing I was very concerned about metal flakes in mah engine!). Ended up with: -Tire rotation -Free oil change -Free racetrack LED lights installed -They forgot to take my oil change voucher, I'll be back for my second one soon Furniture store: Older guy approaches me and asks what I'm looking for today. He immediately rubs be the wrong way. Red socks, Christmas looking sweater, an overcompensated handshake with worn out loafers. I tell him I want a grey sectional (I already knew the model I was there to buy). He sits down at his computer, complaining "it's slow" and double clicking everything in sight. I keep piecing together what I want until he finds it by description down to a single model. I tell him "That's great and I can't wait to stop by after work and get the couch!" I then send an email from the office and state along the lines of I'm sorry - my girlfriend found a deal online for $500 less, includes the full set (his didn't have an ottoman) with financing and free delivery. I include a link for him to show the difference. When you put it in your cart you have to add the ottoman, delivery is only free to the curb(costs more to carry it in) and there is no financing vs his 24 month same as cash. He matches it! All because I knew he wouldn't be savvy enough with a computer. Ended up with: -24 month 0 interest -free delivery -HUGE discount What about you chums?
  13. +1 on the office part, that makes it a deduction. If you're referring to the energy credits: You cannot target the insulation/padding as an energy improvement. The padding you used probably has an R-Value of 3, maybe 4. The R-Value necessary for our regions Climate is R-38 to maximize efficiency as prescribed by the IRS using IECC's 2009 map. You couldn't fit that type of insulation in anything but an exterior wall or attic. Anyway, if you think of anything that does qualify it will be reported on form 5695 with a credit up to 10% of your cost excluding installation charges subject to a $500 maximum.
  14. Anyone know where there might be a variety of these to choose from? Probably looking at a metal mesh maybe 4-6 diameter. http://www.tubesandmore.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product_full/p-hsg012.png

  18. Call you next week lettuce discuss this block.
  19. Loving the posts from all the uninformed and the BROchure professionals of CR. Good write-up's chums. Keep the good stuff coming. Can anyone else flip to page six and tell me how they like their drive to work? LOL. Slap jawed yokels
  20. I typically list my length and girth up there.
  21. There's a 195whp dart right now that is just bolt ons. No one has a tuning solution yet and from my experience data logging and a few others the car is dangerously lean stock. One company has already cranked boost up to 30+psi. The engine's actually stout (I mean that it can handle high boost). I have engine mounts, a down pipe and a few more psi on mine right now but there's no point in doing anything else until we have a tuning/fuel solution. I would really like 200+ out of mine and I would be without complaints as far as daily driving the thing. Also to clear the rumor: Dodge already stated at the Detroit Autoshow no new SRT models will be released until 2016. And the way Dart sales are going I don't know why they would bother producing one.
