Looks great!

His budget could work considering 4 door cars have terrible resale vs their 2dr counterparts.
Old cars LOL.
4dr prices are increasing since many cant afford the 2 door versions.

Looks good.

No, he had it on the corvette forum for some time. Must have been before LS1Tech.
I use http://www.corvetteforum.com for everything vette related. very knowledgeable group and no BS. Register for an account and introduce yourself. people will love it
Yep , the best place for corvette knowledge. I am on there too, aka RS69.

I don't understand how people could do this.

I was planning to keep our 2014 Passat TDI, after some misc little issues and the buyout Volkswagan will give us, it will be sold back.
I have purchased several new cars over the years and this time around I am planning on a 2014 BMW 535xi with the M performance package. I just test drove one and was quite impressed with it.
So asking CR for any issues I should look out for. I am planning to purchased a certified owned to helpfully eliminate some issues right off from Kelly BMW. I will not purchase a car or have any work done from MAG.
Thanks in advance..

Hum...... Interesting!

Like what Paul said!

Yes, it is that easy and only takes 20 minutes.
Overall, pretty good video on the steps.

I am with you guys in spirit, I need to pass this year.

There were other oranges but only offered on the 1969 Corvette was Monaco Orange and Hugger Orange for the 1969 Camaro. The other oranges are not the same tint.

oh, that was a joke... haha. That picture is from the Mazda Museum in Japan. They have just about every car on display they have ever built. No one in their right mind would pay money to see my car on display. it's not that special.
You got me!

They already put mine in a museum
But I would be totally down with letting them put mine in there.

Cool, how long was yours on loan?

The 78 vettes are increasing in value. However, there are quite a few that are still a good value.
I haven't followed up yet with the museum, but will be speaking with them this week. They are requesting the color Monaco Orange, aka hugger orange.
Thanks again for the input.

I would, if it's a real museum. Some bullshit "museum" or half-assed attraction, nope. But if it's real, think of the little kids who may be inspired by seeing it. Beautiful car, even if it's not "done" or "perfect" to you it will be to them. Worth it to make that impact. Maybe it's pie in the sky or whatever but a little time could continue a generation.
It is a real museum and agree if it can inspire the next generation that would be awesome.

Interesting in your progress also, keep the peanut gallery updated on your progress.

On one hand its awesome to say, you have such a great car that its museum quality. On the other i would hate to lose out on it for a year.
Im guessing this is for your 69 ( i belive) vette you just finished thats beautiful? I say go for it, since i know you have plenty of other toys in the stable that could use your attention.
The Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky is requesting a car like my 69. However, I still have some things yet to finish, aka the interior and detailing the engine bay. The exterior is done and it depends on the way it would displayed. I don't know if I could let it go for the time frame and the fact it would be a few hours away also.

Too bad they don't want the 78 Silver Anniversity, if they did, it would be there.
-
QSL wanted the Viewt for indoor display for one year. I worried that not starting and driving the car for that period would be detrimental; otherwise I would have agreed.
That would be a valid concern. Would distance be a concern also?

Let's say, if an opportunity to loan your car to a museum would you do it? The term could be 9 months to a year.
Twinning!
