  1. Should be a good time, are you guys going to do any paint work or just assemble? Regardless, the body doesn't look like a rust bucket.
  2. My wife does the same and does have a connectiion in Gahanna if you still need assistance.
  3. I believe he purchased a red one with white stripes.
  4. Great post and information, my kids are still researching options for college. Thanks for sharing
  5. One of my friends just purchased a Ford GT yesterday. Hopefully I will be able to catch some of the action being replayed over the next week or so.
  6. OSU has an engineering degree in welding. My brother is an welding engineer and works for Honda. The Edison Welding institute is here too, they might be able to provide some advise.
  7. He uses it all the time. He has many vettes from the c1 to c6. It is a heavy trailer and pull its with his Ram 3500. I don't know where he bought it, but is over 10 years old and still looks good. There was one for sale on Craigslist a few weeks ago from a classic car dealer in Utica, thinking Phil Sterling Classics.
  8. My friend has one but doesn't rent it out. He hauls his corvettes on it. His trailer is made by Imperial and has an open with a full floor bumper pull. I have a featherlie open car hauler that works for corvettes but I can only haul one though.
  9. If u still need an option, my wife is an attorney and this is part of her practice(over 20 years of experience) pm me and I can give you her contract info.
  10. Congratulations on the new venture.
  11. I like this idea too for the non street legal cars.
  12. Keep the meet open until 10ish then the cruise afterwards. Clay, You are doing a great job and thanks for sharing and asking for our input.
  13. I attended one meet and left after 15 minutes due to the egos and the junior high mentality.
  14. Very cool video and looking forward to what Dan accomplishes in 2016 with this incredible Nova.
  15. GLWS, that car is absolutely beautiful!
  16. Its the start of winter, yes many of the fun outside activities are on hold until spring. I agree the winter months are depressing but you need to fill the time with something(joining a gym, reading books/etc) that may make you happier during the winter time. You have a 14 year old daughter and agree most teenage and high school kids don't want to hang out with their parents. However, my high school kids(16 year old girl and 17 year boy) are into activities that I like to attend(high school swim team during the winter months). I have also filled my time in working on polish the rims on the 78 corvette. Yes, this is not a hard project, it just takes time and I drink a few beverages when I go out to the barn to work on this. You just need to find something to do that isn't too hard to do that makes you happy, everyone is different so it may take a few tries to find something you like.
  17. I would look at taking the LSAT first, and what's involved to prepare: that's going to be 90% of your indication not necessarily as to whether you'd be a good lawyer, but how interested law schools would be in you. I agree with Clay's statement above^. My wife is an attorney and she was a Political science and English double major at OSU and went straight to the OSU college of law after she graduated. She was an honor student in her undergrad and that was 100% paid for from scholarships. Law school was a different story, she worked hard and did have some debt when she was done. Overall, it was a good decision and she enjoys what she has been doing over the past 20 years.
  18. Scott, I understand and without going into details 2015 was rough for me due to some medical stuff, looking cheerful ahead for 2016. Cheers! Rick
  19. Sounds like your dad is now a partner in the purchase. This is a similar story with my 78 vette, when it sells he gets his share of the profit. Regardless, it sounds like your dad likes it and wants to keep it in the family.
  20. I just like to wish all my automobile friends a safe 2015 New Year's Eve and look forward to 2016. See you guys at upcoming cars and coffee and CR tracks days.
  21. Excellent, I will keep you guys in mind for upcoming service. Thanks, Rick

    Shop Pics

Thanks for sharing, a lot of candy in there..
  23. I used IPS in the past because they offered CR members a discount price on labor and nearby. Since they are no more, Dozzer would be first choice for diesel repair(IPS didn't offer this service and I had no reason yet). If Bill can work on late models automobiles that will be another option for the dd. Austin shop(Lucore) sounds like another opportunity, hopefully they could offer some CR pricing since their shop is not nearby for me.
