I had good experiences with POR15(including their Metal Ready product too). My last application was applying to the frame on my 05 duramax and few years ago. I have used POR15 in my corvettes and some customer cars I have worked on. I have never used any of these products on the topside or body, I have cut out the bad areas and repaired. For surface rust, you need to sand or grind out and use etching primer like PPG DP90 and the the typical paint prep(or have Kevin Clifford to respray) and no more rust from that area.

Depends on how much it cost. For the right price I would buy.

I have a 14 Passat that will need the DSG service soon. If this fellow works at local shop and won't charge the dealer $400 I am interested. I will not be taken the TDI back to any dealer due to diesel gate. Presently, I am planning to take it in the the VAG shop German Autowerks for the 40k service.

I just had a similar situation 2 weeks ago with my wife's 2014 Passat. You are pretty much screwed, since this was in a parking lot. It is your word against the other, so no fault. My wife's car is over at Clifford's to get the rear bumper repainted at my expense.

Drove by IPS at lunch, pretty much an empty parking lot except for a few cars.
