There are many options like the Liquor Barn in Louisville to pick up Angels Envy/Buffalo Trace and maybe Blanton’s. I picked up my Blanton at a small store in Louisville and paid quite a bit for it. The best tour in my opinion is the Buffalo Trace Distillery, no cost to attend and free samples. I also like Woodford Reserve and Bulleit Tour and bourbon, which are easy to find in Ohio.

This is a good thread, yes I enjoy bourbon went on a trip on the trail a few months ago and invited with another group to hit it again in July. You need to go to Indy/Kentucky for the good stuff like Blanton, Eagle Rare and Angels Envy cause the supply in Ohio is very limited. For the record Opa in Delaware has a great bourbon selection and the Lizardville does too for the dine in places.
  5. Very cool, project. I have an 87 and been through some repairs of it. I bought my mine from from my father in law around 20 years ago. My is mostly original and the repairs I have done where the normal maintenance items. My 87 has around 68,000 miles on it, how many miles are on yours? Seems like you have a heavy list on the do list.
  6. My brother did the same thing one , however he built a new frame for the truck.
  7. There is one being built on Orange Rd and 23. The sign went up a couple weeks ago. I agree with what others said, I would use the money and build a barn or upgrade to a property where I can enjoy my hobby at my house. It takes too much time to drive to another location, when I can just walk out to my shop.
  8. Yep, I had that issue too and still dealing with it in Franklin county.
  9. Excellent, that even makes it better! I always loved the 928s, however, I am at the stage of life I am not wiling to take on a project like that. Thanks for sharing!
  10. Nice! I take it you got for a good price based on the work you have put into it.
  11. I go to Bloomington Gold every year, it is a pretty good event, especially in Indy compared to the other location in the past.
  12. Facebook is old news, I guess the hipsters are on Snapchat or whatever Tic Toc is.
  13. Not much has changed on the hobby car front, the changes happened with the daily drivers, duramax diesel pick up and switch from Sweden(850) to German BMWs (535xi/325ci) and a few Hondas that I let the kids drive.
  14. Congratulations! I wish you the best on the next step.
  15. I knew my C4 was ahead of its time, hopefully this drives the price up on it and I will sell it.
  16. Truly a loss, Jason and his family have been through a lot, prayers out to them.
  17. 911 is next on my list, read up on the ims bearing issues.
  18. I agree the collector car market has gone soft. I still have one for sale(78 Vette) and don't care if it sells or not. I think the younger generation doesn't really care anymore and the old farts aka our parents are done spend the big money on them. The people buying at auctions are the super wealthy and not the common person. The day of the car investment is gone(I am sorry to say). I will still continue to purchase ones that interest me, but if I break even over the time with it, that is my goal. I still have many cars and believe if I sell today, I will still make some very good $$ on them. I bought them at the right time(years ago) and performed most of the labor on them. My focus now is real estate.
  19. My wife is an attorney and this is a part of her practice. If you want to contact her, PM me and I relay you her information. Thanks,
