Did I miss something? Have you and Joel become close enough friends that he's allowing you to talk shit with his car? "let the owner talk about their own car." MattsV8.... I couldn't agree with this statement any more!

I love how os WHO fans will pick and choose the time they want stats from like the rest never happened. The fact is you can't deny that overall Mich has a better record All you care about is when osu Finally started winning ( you know that they had a team before that right??) Talk about bandwagon Nther91

Our baby Turbo who we just found out is 4 weeks younger than what we thought has faught off Parvo. He was in the hospital for 7 days and is doing wonderful. The pain and anguish (sp?) of not being able to see him and not know for sure if he was going to make it with the best care and best meds was more than I could take. He's only 12-13 weeks old (and was only about 9-10 weeks when we got parvo) and seeing him so skiney when he got home broke my heart! Just remember to keep your spirits up so that the dog can feed off your positive energy! http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y72/PonyPimpstress/DSC00816.jpg

I agree. Chase doesn't charge any type of fee that is already present in the industry. There are plenty of companies that don't have a charge to make payments. I know that even with our mortgage there is a fee to pay (something like $15 or something like that) because they use someone else to process their payments via the internet.... and it's WELLS FARGO. There are ways around those fees. You are able to set up auto pay with almost anything (altho with most insurance companies there is a $1 charge on top of your monthly premium). If you know that you are sending in EXTRA money, then there is no harm in putting in the mail and sucking up the $.45 or so that you have in your time, stamp and envelope. Nothing in life is free. If you think that Chase is the only bank that's charging fees like this, then you're wrong. And I can almost bet money that if your bank currently doesn't charge fees, it will shortly down the road. BTW, if you don't like Chase, at least invest.... Jamie Dimon will make sure that those fees that are being charged will help put money back into your pocket!

I would have to agree with saving the money, but.... our decisions in life is what builds our character.

Considering that we have an instant $30k in equity before the house was rehabed I think we did alright. We are still very happy with our house. Hope that everything goes as well as you make it sound, you seem to have everything locked down. Good luck. As for interest rate, you might want to research what the prime rate of mortgages is and it's change over the past six months. You'll find that you might want to do a tad more research. http://mortgage-x.com/general/indexes/prime_rate.asp http://mortgage-x.com/general/national_monthly_average.asp

We baught our house less than 6 months ago. We got 6.875. btw, I thought the norm used to be 10% (but which ever). If you are paying full value for a house in this kind of market, you aren't looking to hard for a house and don't really care about spending your hard earned cash. Because most people don't know how to control their finances people who do can take advantage of a bad situation... meaning that you can find a bank owned property for a pretty nice ass house and have instant equity. Having instant equity (and enough of it) is what is going to keep you on top regardless of how much you put down. Besides if you don't put that money down, there is normally no penalty for early pay off on a loan so you can always pay more to your principal. I understand what you're talking about the no financial info exchanged and considering your age that is a quote on a rate almost like a pre-approval letter from a credit card company. Before you go to close they'll ask to pull a report to lock in that rate for you and you'll find that their 6.5% is going to go up significantly. As for the reason that I suggest Joe... he's in the business to help people by showing them all of their options and letting them know how to save money based on their situation. When we were buying our house we went thru alot of brokers and all of them were out to make a quick buck bc 9/10 are working on comission. This is a decision that is a life changing one and to explore all options and get as much info as possible is something i encourage. If Joe doesn't have a consulting fee (which i don't think he does) what could be the harm in contacting him and picking his brain? p.s. Joe, since I'm selling you do I get some sort of referral fee? hehehe j/k

Joe, you know that I like you so don't take this the wrong way, but back off. You pick on every kid that gets cars/car parts as gifts from their parents. Not everyone that receives those types of gifts are the spoiled rich kids that take everything for granted. I've never seen this kid make an off colored post about any thing and seems to be somewhat mature (based on the maturity level of this board). Cut the kid some slack. If he made some ricer comment about getting an Evo so that he can 'street race yo' and do all kinds of ricer-ish things I'd back you 100%. On a side note, I know know this kid, but I think that giving up a mustang is a not so wise decision but that's because I love mustangs (nothing against Evo's, just too much money).

I want an English so bad. Yours are adorable! You'll have to post pics every month or so to show progress -
If your only cites are coming from the internet, then I seriously think that you should be a tad more open minded to others critiquing you on your "facts". The government providing and accurate spread sheet of all debits and credits for their accounting (no matter if it is different or not) is going to be about as rare as a waiter being honest on his taxes about his income!
-
Scott, You have a very valid reason as to why we should not attack the government for the war. However, please be open minded with how it effects everyone in their daily life. Just as a small instance: Gas- it is costing the working american more money just to get to work. Because of just this one thing the working american is going to spend less money on leisure. Which will in turn hurt the business owners which may cause lay off's, less money during an employees raise, and so on and so forth. While I appreciate everything that you and every American soldier does for our country by going where ever and when ever the government will send all of you, I wish the government would know when to quit. As far as those in this thread quoting numbers on government spending, you should cite your sources. Unless you are working in the whitehouse you don't know jack shit! Last time I checked people that work for the government that know "calssified information" don't post on message boards claiming they know "classified information". I think it might be a breach in their employee contract or something.... I think they might have those ?!?!?!?!

I work there as well. I have contacts in almost every department of Chase. Which department/position are you interviewing for? Do you know who you are interviewing with? If so I could get you a little backround on the position as well as the person from HR if possible.
