The housing market nationwide is blowing up. I do feel this is a 'short-term' market...but it has been this way for the past 2 years and does not look like it will be slowing down for at least the next 2 years. There is a shortage of homes for sale everywhere which is what is driving up prices...supply and demand 101. It's a great time to be a realtor or mortgage originator...but make sure you bank as much as possible as it won't always be this way. PS...I can write loans in TN if you'd like to recoup some of that cash and let it work for you in different investments... -Marc

He's pretty awesome so far. I tried not caging him the first day when I went to work as I have never caged one of my dogs and don't like to do it...and it failed LOL. I put him in my kitchen and 'secured' the exit with a strong dog gate...that he went right through after I left. He did a little damage but nothing terrible. Went and bought a crate that night and he actually will just walk himself into and laydown even when I'm home. I'm still not a fan of it. He is great when I am home and won't leave my room when it's time for bed. He's not eating as much as he should but I think it is still due to him adjusting. I brought him to work today for some socializing and so far he has been awesome. Vet appointment is today at 2:30 so hoping he checks out! Thanks, Marc

If you ever came out of hiding you would know this is on the lower end of my 'good deeds'. The dog is awesome. A bit timid at first but warmed up as soon as I got him home. Spent a good 15-20 minutes walking him around my place and showing him every room and letting him get his smells in and then took him on a 45 minute walk. He needs a little work on the leash but overall wasn't bad. Got him home and he ate, drank, and took a little snooze. Woke up and came right to me and put his big dumb head on my lap for all the pats. I left him free to roam last night to see how he would do and he jumped right on my bed to snuggle in and didn't budge until the thunder woke us up at 4AM. I forgot how much room that big of a dog takes up on a king! Looking forward to seeing how this goes. -Marc

As long as he doesn't bite me, I will be bringing him home tonight . There is a possibility I may still need to find him a new permanent home but as of now, I plan on keeping him. I called his vet and received his history...pretty healthy pup but is due for a new round of shots. I will be getting those handled this week. I'll keep you posted if anything changes. Thanks, Marc

So I won a Phantom at my work Christmas party and have not done anything with it other than take it out of the box. I read the initial direction and it was very adamant about not getting the battery wet so I was going to wait until it was dry out to fly. I have not registered myself and wasn't planning on it...is it really a big deal to fly just for recreation/taking pictures and not be registered? Potential penalties if caught, etc? -Marc
