Call me selfish but...I am also not a fan of the proposed bill since I primarily drive a diesel...and have a 220 gallon tank on the boat! Shit adds up quick at that point!
-Marc
Fly me out and I'll drive it back for you?
I have heard good reviews from http://www.uship.com. You make a profile, explain your trip/needs, and shippers submit bids. I received quite a few when I was looking to have a boat shipped up from Florida but ended up buying one close enough for me to go get it myself.

Congratulations!
Biggest suggestion I can give you is build the biggest barn/shop you can afford from the start as you will always want it bigger.

I absolutely love my job 98% of the time. The politics of banking can be annoying and stressful at times...and ignorant borrowers/realtors drive me insane...but the joy of helping someone purchase their first/dream/etc home outweighs the con's.

Funny...I was literally thinking about this in rush hour traffic on Friday.

I daily my tuned up f250 diesel and love it. 4 door Lariat...all the comforts of anything else and enough room to haul who/whatever I want. With enough power to embarrass more than a few 'performance' vehicles.

Are you friends with any local bar owners? If so, I'm sure they can help you out. I've done it a time or two for larger events and it was worth it.
Good luck!

So you truly believe the majority of heroin users are drug addicts because of their Doctor...not their own personal choice?????
The doctor may have prescribed pain meds...but they did it because the client told them they were in pain and needed/wanted them. It's the individuals choice to take them. Just as it is the individuals choice to continue taking them when they are no longer in pain because they LIKE and WANT the feeling the meds provide. It is the individuals CHOICE to then try heroin because it's cheaper than the pills off the street.
If you feel the NEED for these meds after the prescription ends and you go to heroin...it's your choice and you are now an addict. Instead of heroin, or buying pills on the street, go to rehab.
Addiction is not a disease.

I've hosted a few events at the Zoo and LOVE the African Safari room. If this is a fall event, the pavilions on the water are incredible.
However, they are very strict about bringing your own alcohol. My owner is very particular about his wine so we had to source it through the zoo and paid triple. But he footed the bill so he gets what he wants!
I can put you in touch with the event coordinator at Copious...I believe she may be able to swing you providing your own booze. Shoot me an email if you're interested.
-Marc
haha, awesome, thanks! I hope he reaches out!
May have been a Mark Cooper in my office. Your dad should definitely call me LOL!
Let me know when you're ready and I will gladly walk you through some steps and hook you up with some title options to save you money when you sell!
Thanks,
Marc
Congratulations...You'll love it! There has been a lot of good advice in here already...most importantly I would say keep it clean and keep up on the maintenance and you will be fine. Fuck those haters talking about best day is 1st and last!
When I bought my Nordic (~8000lbs fully loaded) I had a 1500...towed it twice and upgraded to a 2500 diesel long bed. I tow it everywhere though so not the same situation you are in.
Sold the Nordic on Wednesday...desperately searching for the replacement. May be making a trip to Alabama next week to look at two...both 38ft+ and 10-13000lbs dry!
If you come up North with it let us know...you'd be welcome to raft up!

I don't think it is a silly question at all. I was being sincere. Reading this thread, you have so many replies (mostly smartass ones) without much content of what you would propose to stop them, I had to ask.
I see your point of hoping less guns in circulation would equal less dead children. I just don't know if I can personally agree with it. I personally cannot blame the gun...I blame the individual that wants to commit the crime.
