i've personally used Huntington, Kroger, and Wells Fargo for car rentals. i am pretty sure Kroger Co. had the best rate and was around 45% off quoted price. i have never been asked to prove i worked for any of those spots, however i normally rent/pickup from the airport kiosks.

i like this idea. i get several vacations per year, this just helps the process.

this is a steal for someone...this bike is the real deal.
fyi...i want that stand.

my bike "might" be for sale, i am thinking about getting away from fast stuff that has two wheels. clean/clear title in hand. mechanically a 10/10. cosmetically 9.9/10
02 Honda cbr954rr red/black
14500 miles
this bike has been modded with all the right stuff...
Goodridge "race series" stainless lines front and back
newer front tire and 200 rear tire
sliders/spools
K&N air filter
Two-Brothers full carbon high mount exhaust (rare)
Power Commander PCIII usb model (mapped for filter/exhaust)
integrated tail light
undertail kit
flush signals up front
new oil/new NGK plugs/new brake fluid
this is a super fast liter class bike that has been done right. no stunts, no racing, just a ride to work when it is nice out bike. it needs nothing, leaks nothing, burns nothing. please dont knock my asking price. if you think i am high go try and buy a bike like this (929rr/954rr/1000rr) right now. i am cheaper than a dealer, and i am cheaper than trying to build your own. i will throw in a Alpinestars leather jacket, a pair of Alpinestars gloves too, and maybe a rear-stand too. i have the stock tail light, brake lines.
$6100 cash.
thanks,
tom
not my bike, but you get the idea. i will post my pictures if there is anyone that really wants to see them. i should have some by the end of the weekend.

As Stallion posted, it might be hard with Gearheadz, IPS, etc. around this area who all do work on F-Body cars and Vettes. In theory it's an awesome idea, but it will be a long hard road to get your name out there and make money off of it.
kinda what i was getting at i just didnt put it into words. thanks.

not sure. you might want to pm a mod and ask. im not saying i have a issue with your post, however...there are a ton of sponsor shops with f-body/vette experience here. good luck with your shop.
tom

are you a sponsor here?

i dunno why i do this every year but i try to "hold out" to turn on my a/c. i dont care about the money, energy use, etc...i just do it for the heck of it. my house tends to stay cool if i button everything up. it was 68-71 the past two days. anyways i broke down this morning and turned it on before work. it was warm out. i hate sleeping when it is hot.
everybody else have theirs on?
tom
-
yep. they were over powell and worthington too. pretty cool to see.

here is the email i got back. SCAM!
Hi,
the bike is in great condition, has been properly maintained, has never been laid down or abused in any way. it has a clear title and the price I'm selling it for is $3100, which is including all charges.
I used to live in Westerville but I'm currently working in the UK (London) and I'll be moving here permanently within the next few months and I can't afford the luxury of taking the bike with me so I decided to let it go.
I'm using a privately-held company called Carbank Ltd. Vehicle Storage to sell this bike, I left it at their warehouse before leaving to the UK. they are supervising the entire sale process from payment, shipping with a 14-day inspection period, title transfer service or/and (if needed) returns and refunding.
if you want to purchase it, let me know and I will explain you how Carbank Ltd. works and how we can move forward.
Thanks

i know. it looks like a unmolested, bone stock, ridden on the weekends bike. i almost wish i had the green just to buy it and flip it.

if this is a legit posting it is a great deal. at $3100 it is $2000 less than most of the other asking prices. it was for sale on CL over the winter asking $4900. if you are ready for a liter class bike, jump on it.

a sucker is born every day.

what sub u putting in? 1.25 cuft or smaller?
smaller would be nice. do you have a 1.25 box?
tom
-
batteries plus?
-
basically looking for a sealed single 12in sub box. i would prefer a square box rather than a wedge or hatch style. i dont really care what it looks like. i was going to build one, however someone tossed all my mdf/carpet. by the time i buy new boards, connections and everything else i might as well just buy a new pre-fabbed one. please check those basements, and garages. looking to buy asap. if nobody has one by the weekend i will just buy new.
okthxbye,
tom

do you still have the 12?
