    ahhh...i think i fixed it. I took the radio out, and guess what i found...a set of rca's and a blue remote wire still plugged in to the stock headunit!!! I followed them to the trunk, and found the rca's were touching the live remote wire!!! I didnt really think it would short the radio, but i started doing the math...live 12v remote grounds out on metal rca's causes the radio fuse to blow. hope i got it fixed. btw, i had zero idea this car ever had hookups for a amp, damn previous owners.

    I was driving today and the oem honda radio died. came home checked the fuse, sure enough the 20a fuse for the radio was blown. kind of odd, so i checked everything over, seemed ok, replaced the fuse, got on my day. tonight took the car out again, 20 minutes into the drive, same thing, radio cut off, fuse blew. i have made zero changes to this car, radio, or anything else.

     

    any ideas, similar issues with hondas?

  16. Smoked a red ls1 rx7 today in my honda.

    had a chance to play with a certain red ls1 rx7 today, i dunno if he was on spray or not. i was minding my own business on 270 between 3 and 23, all the sudden i look over and there is a fast looking rx7 with chrome wheels that flies up on my left. he looks over points to his steering wheel and flicks me off. i knew it was on like donkey kong. it is heavy traffic so i pass and line up next to him. we went from 60mph-62mph twice, i won both times. i guess my 954rr is faster than i thought.

     

    on a serious note, rob's truck was towing eric's ride, on eric's trailer. however i still won.

    eric, car is looking great, you need bigger letters with your last name on your trailer.

    rob, we need to find a body shop guy to fix your truck.

  18. Where to buy a shipping container?

    i need one of those huge metal 40ft. shipping containers. basically it is a 40ft. semi without wheels. it just rests on the ground. i know they make 40ft, 53ft, and 60ft. i have no clue where to even start. i dont want a new one, once they make so many trips overseas the shipping companies must discontinue use. we arent close to an ocean, but i know someone on cr knows someone with a hook up.

    i am willing to bet all the trash that says "don't buy chad's kit, it was put together in china", shop at walmart and wear nike shoes. Everything walmart sells is from china, guess where those nike's came from. come on, i bleed red/white/blue but why pay 6k when you have an option like this? times are tough, buy results.
