  3. Im working on my S10 for next season and id like to get its weight at all 4 corners. does anyone have the scales for this? Someone told me to take it to grashell fab, or holt race cars. id like to try to set it up myself. its never been properly set up yet. thanks guys.
  4. yea its got a hipsters pro tree trans brake. what is the output on the t76 i was looking at one from turbonetics for 1500. looks to me like it will only do about 1000 hp. witch is a lot but im looking for arround 1200-1300. the banks kit would work great in my truck but the 60-1 turbos will only do 1100 hp at best. id have to spray the rest. thats why i kinda wanted like a t88 and i could just spray out of the hole to spool it. anyone in here runnin a big single like a t88:??
  5. if that car has a wideband 02 good luck with the 87. i have a eclipse turbo 95. never put less than 93 in the tank and sometimes it gets a little 100 unleded yes cam 2 unleded is 100 octane not the 110 like most people think. but i can garentee you if that car sees about 8lbs boost with those stock pistons it will knock and it only has to miss one knock before hole in piston. i let my girl drive my car sometimes and i encurage her to drive it hard thats what the turbo is for i tell her not to shift before she sees at least 15lbs of boost. its great watching it funny. and she always puts 93 or better back in. you just got to train them!!!

  7. isint a non turbo eclispe a A200 motor. thats a dodge neon motor. you might try calling a dodge dealer or looking on the web for dodge neon common problems and vfacq's. my guess would be if the throttle body is like a 4g63 turbo car there is a biss screw that will leak and cause problems. this happened on my car and i fixed it with a 1dollar oring and some black rtv silicone. hope that helps.
  8. i might have it let me look in my dsm bible. hey i have the set up of the afc 1st gen for your car. dont know if there are any diffrences or not. where did you get it. see if they will open another one and copy the directions for you.

Im planning on building a turbo set up for my 82 S10. at one time it was supercharged with a 6-71. i was thinking of a 8-71 BDS with airlock rotors but figured the only cool part about that would be the look. the power would only be about 700. Im thinking of trying to use stainlessworks turbo hedders. and either two 60-1, 62-1, or a single t-88 or t-91 but thats really huge. it will be intercooled and im going to do it with a carb shop blow through carb setup with a procharger competition carb bonnet. and racing bov. the wastegate will be a newgen from turbonetics. any help would be appreciated or any ideas. thanks all. on another question didnt want to post a new question but this one is important too. Anyone in here running a good tq converter. i just blew a TCI 10" with anti balloning plates and 4500 stall. im looking for a new converter jegs says go with a tci 8"race converter. i just wanted to see if anyone in here as tried anything else and how long has it lasted? Im planning on still driving to the track and running and driving back like always.

  11. well the turbos are ball bearing so slow spool is like blowing in the wind. if i do a t88 or t91 im going to spool with nos. since i already haveit.
  12. i would never question it. the only way to go is the60-1 thats whats in thebanks kit. 1100 hp with 15 lbs boos and air to air intercooler. 600 hp at street level. killer turbos worth every cent. Im planning on either two 62-1 turbos which are just a little bigger or one t-88 or t-91 from turbonetics.

  14. it is a elec choke model. cant find the model number it hs a reman sticker on it of 10-22-99 and my dad just redidit last year for my camaro. the outside needs cleaned but the inside is very clean throttle blades and venturis are 100 percent clean should be a great carb. throttle shaft feels good also. the only numbers i can make out on the reman tag are 3-616. hope that helps
  15. let me go look. im prety sure it came off of a 86 chevy camaro. i beleve it was mechanical choke and not a lot of smog shit on it either. ill be right back hey if you are just looking for jets i might have some of those too.
  16. Hey i got a rebuilt quadrajet carb. id proably let it go for 20 bucks. Im running a holley nowand dont plan on ever using it again. hasent been ran since being rebuilt.
