  1. I suddenly understand why sponsors are dropping away. This place has turned into nothing but a mutual circle jerk among a few select people and their leg humpers. Fuck it. About the only reason I still come here Pics and Vids anyways. Not like anybody here actually races anymore. If they did, Beast and Anthony wouldn't be talking about canceling the track day. Losing George and Kenny broke this place. I'm gone.
  2. Yeah, you pretty much show yourself as full of shit, don't you? Just another little shithead who thinks that the badge on the car is more important than the work that went into it. Leghump your SHO all you want, but at the end of the day, I can still drive down the street and see hundreds of 3800-powered cars driving around. I might see an SHO once a month. I see early-90s Tauruses about once a week. Hell, I'll bring it down to one model. I see more Olds 88s form the early nineties in a day than I see early 90s Tauruses in a month, in spite of the fact that Ford sold many more Tauruses than GM sold 88s. Same goes for late 90s Tauruses. Now, why is it that I see so many more 3800 cars than I see Tauruses(Taurii?)? Maybe it's because the Vulcan and Duratec were massive pieces of shit. Maybe it's because Ford couldn't build a transmission that could stay together past 60k miles. I don't know, and I don't care, whether the new motors are based on the old Duracrap. they bare as much relation as the new Caddy 3.6 does to the old Cavalier 2.8.
  3. Why I say "Fuck you GM, for killing Pontiac!" Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S Edition. 560hp S/C LS3 in a big sedan. Fuck yeah. http://media2.worldcarfans.com/2009/2/medium/vauxhall-vxr8-bathurst-s-edition_2.jpg
  4. Sounds about right. Of course, there are "Mustangs" and "Camaros" that run on the street that probably don't have much more than that in common with the original car.
  5. I'm just wondering where he gets this weird idea that I have a Chevy motor... Or how he figures that the new 3.7s are putting out more power than MY car.
  6. Not black. Definitely not black. Grey. That nice dark hematite grey they put on the ZR1. Black is trying to hard, grey is for REAL evil.
  7. Uh, wait, DuraMAX, or DuraTEC? Chevy diesel, or Ford V6? Cause either way you get about the same amount of smoke...
  8. Which Discount Tire did you get towed to? Cause I know for a fact that if it was Hilliard-Rome or Brice, the guy would have to have been a total moron. They have sets of lug bolt/nut extractors sitting right in the drawers beneath the registers at both locations. I've seen em in use at both locations. Think socket with counter-thread sharp edges on the inside to grip the nut and back it out.
  9. IIRC, the reason they had such shitty fuel mileage was that they pretty much suffocated the motor for emissions. I'd bet you could actually gain mileage as well as power (to a point) by opening up the intake and exhaust and tuning it properly.
  10. I may have to use that elsewhere. Nah, no drama here. I got along fine with Phil until he just randomly turned into a bitch a while back. Farkas I don't much care about, but putting him on my ignore list is better than having to scroll past his drivel.
  11. Z06 Z06 badge. Nope, miscegenation meter isn't ticking. Good to go.
  12. Yeah, I will. It's still a fucking useless piece of shit. Useless and unsafe. Let's see what happens when he hits a crack in the pavement at throttle and blasts his tire sideways off the bead or when his overstressed wheel bearing gives out and sheds a wheel in traffic. Like I said, if he pushed that car as hard as I've pushed mine, it would fall apart. And, no, you stupid fuck, oil coolers on bumpers doesn't even begin to equate to racing a Park Ave. One little rock on the freeway, and your engine is fucked. Do you truly not understand why radiators and such are installed BEHIND grilles and bumpers? Of course, maybe you need all that extra air flow. After all, we know what Toyotas do to oil. Actually, I'm not sure why I'm bothering to talk to you or Phil. You're stupid enough to actually stick up for a company that killed 89 of their own customers, and foisted sludge-maker engines onto ten of thousands. And Phil's a two-faced little bitch. Neither of your opinions matter to me. Welcome to the "ignore" list. Goodbye.
  13. Gee, what irony would that be? A guy with a Park Avenue talking shit about some faggots that have their wheels on wrong? I've flogged my Buick harder than any car on that page would survive. I took a Grandpa car and made it faster. Those morons took performance cars and made them useless. Of course, I don't expect someone who hangs oil coolers on bumpers to understand that sort of thing.
  14. And I'm still smarter than the dumbass who can't tell the difference between a Pontiac and a Buick. Go drive your mildewed mullet mobile and stfu.
  15. Man, I can't believe that Jack In The Box urban legend is still out there. Ronnie wasn't murdered, man. He got depressed about his diabetes and killed himself. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/GonneVille/Fail/ronaldmcdonald-1.jpg
  16. If these losers even TRIED to run that track, those pieces of shit would disintegrate on the first lap. They have no place on the road, much less a track, and are no better than the faggots that jack their cars five feet in the air and put rubber band tires on 58" wheels under them. They're both stupidly unsafe for no more reason than some moron thinks it looks good. Fucktards like that make the REAL enthusiasts look bad.
  17. Really? Do you think that someone would go to so much trouble to make the rest of the gun look absolutely indiscernible from the real thing, and then somehow totally forget to drill a hole in the end of the fake barrel? Or do you think that just possibly they got a bit of shine on the end of the muzzle in that frame? Cause, uh, producing a prop gun that accurate is gonna cost a lot more than just buying a real one.
  18. Word to the wise, jumping up on a trailer is a good way to get a winch bar across the legs. Truckers do not take kindly to people screwing with their equipment. As for why they're still there, the guy was either late for a Friday delivery(that's when I saw them over there), or way, way early for a Monday delivery. I'm betting late for Friday.
  19. You know, I got shit from an anti-gun dyke once for saying that I would absolutely shoot anyone that entered my house illegally or stole or defaced my property. She accused me of caring more about "stuff" than people. I told her she was absolutely fucking right. It's not just "stuff". It's an investment of time and energy that can never be restored. It's little pieces of my life that I've spent working to acquire these things. They're not just stealing a CD player and an iPod, they're robbing me of around 35 hours of my life that I spent working to pay for them. Not to mention the hours that I spent installing them, or the hours that I spent to pay for the car they damaged getting them, or the hours that I spent maintaining and cleaning that car.
  20. I'm going to call the Longhorn over there tomorrow and ask if they might have camera footage of the area around where the other vehicle was broken into.
  21. Came out of the theatre at Stoneridge Plaza on Morse and Hamilton after seeing Iron Man 2, and found that someone had popped the door handle on my Buick and ripped my radio out of the dash in broad daylight. After talking to the officer who took the report, there are some things everyone here needs to know: Stoneridge doesn't have a single camera on the lot, not one. They do not have security on site, not one officer. Gahanna police have asked Casto Development many times to install cameras. Store owners have demanded that they install cameras. Casto has refused to spend even a penny on any security improvements on the parking lot, creating a perfect safe haven for thieves. While the officer was taking my report, another officer came on his radio, relaying info on another break-in at the Longhorn Steakhouse across the lot. I talked to a group of Cap City employees out back on break, and half of them had had their cars broken into, several of them multiple times. Do not park at Stoneridge. Don't patronize the stores there. Don't eat at the restaurants. Tell your friends and family never to go there. If they go, there's a damned good chance their cars will be broken into.
  22. Soviet DT-30 Vityas 30-ton all-terrain transport.
  23. Especially when there's equipment available like Thermal Matrix USA's TM1 and ACT systems, which can detect objects hidden under clothes from more than a hundred feet away and don't reveal anything about a persons features under clothing. They use thermal imaging to see the outline of objects under clothing that block body heat. And instead of a huge machine you have to step inside, all it needs is a laptop, software, and a camera about the size of a VCR. http://www.thermalmatrixusa.net/video-2009-03-16-wtvt-fox-news.html
  24. Um, so someone intending to test the performance of a stock vehicle should upgrade some of the most important parts of that car, thus rendering all findings completely and totally useless? Hmm, interesting testing methods.
  25. If you look to the left, you can see what looks like a chunk of core support with the hood latch attached. That pretty much proves that the pole had to have hit the core support, ripped it in half, then got pushed up by the engine before it went through the windshield.
