  2. I worked with Youthbuild Columbus when they were in that neighborhood. All we did was take common-sense precautions like locking our tool-trailer. The people in the neighborhood treated us well, came out to talk, made us feel at home! You want unfriendly, try doing constrution work in a $200,000-up neighborhood, Yuppies and Woofies treat you like shit. graemlins/nonono.gif
  3. #5) Can I afford it? #4) Does it have a strong motor? #3) Does it handle well? #2) Does it have an actual HOOD, or just an access hatch? ...and the #1 thing I look for in a performance vehicle is) Do I fit between the seat and the steering wheel?(ok, ok, I'm fat already...)
  4. tsudo=pseudo? graemlins/thumbsdown.gif
  5. Hey Chris good to hear from you! You see my little problem? Trunk Car Co. graemlins/jerkit.gif f@#$ers are goin' down!! Oh, well, like I said I'll have a fresh motor to start on!!
  6. Ok, the newbie's gonna take a shot here. It really doesn't MATTER whether FWD/RWD/AWD/4WD is better than whatever other set-up! The only thing that really matters is whether the owner is happy with it. Whether it's a Dodge Omni they bought for $100 down at the auction or a $500,000 monster supercar, it all boils down to the owner's preference. Now that's not to say that you can do whatever you want to the car with total impunity from taste or safety. Wheels that stick way the hell out of the wheelwells are still bad for the car, and putting 20" rims on an Achieva is still tasteless, and a V8 vs. an I4, pound-for-pound is still gonna come up for the V8. But, when I look at a car, I don't generally compare it with the one next to it. I look for what the owner has done with the car he has, and if he does a stand-out job on his car, then I don't give a crap if it's a GNX or a YUGO, I'll still give him props for coolness. So, all the haters can go suck on a rock graemlins/slap.gif
  7. I wanna see one of these on the road. Kill the gas-cap though! graemlins/gay.gif Remember the FR-500, the Mustang some company souped up and moved the front suspension forward 5"? Said they were getting ZO6 handling numbers out of it!
  8. Hummer? What Hummer? All I see is a riced-out Tahoe!j/k That thing is so stupid, it brings down the national IQ average. Now, the 'Busa... graemlins/burnout02.gif
  9. Yeah I already know about Intense, I'm also a member of the Columbus, Ohio ClubGP, and the Bonneville Club. Unfortunately, I have a Series 1, which Intense has very few parts for. In general the Series1 isn't well supported in the aftermarket community. I have found a CAI, but I need a reducer hose for it, and my next upgrade will be a smaller SC pulley.
  10. I have no trouble beleiving this guy is for real, after some of the idiots I've seen running around out on the street. Hell, just the other day I saw a guy cruisin' around, thinkin' he's "pimp", in an Olds Achieva convertible, with 20" rims...on spacers!! Damn things stuck so far out of the wheelwells that I don't think he could turn his wheel lock-to-lock w/out destroying his fenders!! graemlins/jerkit.gif
  11. OK, OK... I own a Bonneville, she's a '95 SSEi, Silver, Black leather inside, supercharged 3.8liter V6. I haven't done anything to the motor yet, in fact she's in the shop, probably going to have to get a new motor due to an oil-pressure drop across the entire RPM range. This kind of thing is rare on the 3800, they're usually reliable as hell to 2-300,000 miles, but I think I may have gotten taken by the dealer who sold it to me. Oh, well, he's eating the cost, and I get a fresh motor to start my mods on!! smile.gif
