  1. Ick, no thanks. You do know they use BP formulation right?
  2. GM is laying down and playing dead on ALL its good concept cars, if you haven't noticed.
  3. She red-lighted and let off. Otherwise she'd have owned me proper.
  4. One of my buddies sent me a vid of one of my runs from the April 3 Test&Tune at NTR. It wasn't my best run of the day but here it is. I'm the beige Park Avenue on the left. The SRT-4 red-lighted and let off.
  5. Might come, but not much point in me running my PA again before I get a pulley on it.
  6. Don't want anything fancy, or suicidally fast. Just looking for something to tool around on, and commute on nice days. Keep in mind that that I'm a lard-ass, so I need something that'll stand to 300+lbs of me sittin' on it. Not a cruiser though, something like a sportster-style bike would suit me best. And cheap, a used bike. Any recommendations?
  7. Did anyone see that rice-box Xb? Damn little toaster-oven made a 14.9 run! WTF? Got my baseline runs, 15.58 average for the day, with a best of 15.527 @ 90.04. Not bad for the QE2, huh? Bastard announcer called my baby a luxury-liner!(Well, it is a Park Avenue, I guess I'll let the guy live.) Track definitely sucked yesterday, I was hitting TC almost every other run.

  9. Ummm... You don't have ALUMINUM siding, do you? If you do, you're gonna have all kinds of dents in it. graemlins/doh.gif
  10. http://www.hkpro.com/oicwtree.jpg Unless they can shrink that thing down, it'll never see service. It's gotta be almost 35-40lbs. Also look at the picture, the grip being so far forward makes you use an over extended grip. A shorter member of the armed forces would have serious problems using that. I don't understand why the U.S. armed forces don't switch to some updated descendant of the Kalashnikov rifle(AK-47). It's accurate, reliable to a fault, and battle-proven since shortly after WWII. Barrett Light .50? Sweet. Reach out and touch someone, hard.
  11. http://www.angieslist.com/ Google, took less than five seconds. Try it some time. Yes, Angie's List is better than the BBB, because the Better Business Bureau is just that, a bureaucracy. Angie's List is a customer feedback service. People rate the businesses on the site, good or bad, based on actual customer experiences, not just the complaints that people send the BBB.
  12. Mekkahfire, I don't think you'll have much trouble getting the tow company to pay for your damages. They are (going from what you said) clearly at fault in this situation. Question: did you ask them if they were willing to accept responsibility and pay for the damage before you got pissed, or did you decide to go straight to DEFCON 1? If you didn't ask in writing for reimbursement, you need to do that before you can pursue them in court. I will say that parking illegally on campus is pretty dumb, but that's neither here no there. On the subject of all the name-calling and back-biting on this forum, don't worry about it. Remember, it's the internet. If you can't lay hands on the guy, right now, let it go. If you chill, relax, and don't feed the flames, you'll be a lot happier. Hell, I drive a Park Avenue and post here, think I don't get a few flames?
  13. That was apretty hard hit! Is it me, or was he yelling "Nein, nein, nein, neeiinnn!!!"?
  14. Damn, way to smack down the ricer fly-by!
  15. Try a GTP Comp G. But you're right about that...thing. gah. graemlins/puke.gif
  16. HP don't seem to give a shit, unless they've already pulled you over for something else. But local bacon like to give people hard times between donuts.
  17. What I don't understand is this, why spend all that money on a V or a Cobra when you could buy an 80s turbo Dodge, put $5-10k in it, and smoke either one? *applying asbestos-OK, flame on*
  18. If you want a mirror finish, jeweller's rouge and a polishing wheel on a Dremel is the fastest way to get it. Plus jeweller's rouge won't leave any scratches behind. Your best bet to find the rouge is a place called Byzantium, a bead store on High St near 3rd Ave. If you need something a bit coares go with a Dremel finishing abrasive pad.
  19. Although I'm a GM guy, I have to with Ford on this one. If you're looking used, get a Bronco with the 300ci I6 and the 4spd manual. My Dad had an 87 F-250 as a beat-the-crap-out-of-it hauler and that motor is a torque monster. Drop one or two extra leafs in the rear spring and you have a hell of a tow vehicle.
