I've found that they match or exceed the energy replenishing properties of any gel or su0plement on the market, and it has less chemical waste. (it's also cheaper and delicious'er)
I'd also find that it aids in the post-workout healing process. That is also related to its usefulness as a wound dressing. Also key it's is goo-nature, sealing the wound like a glue, but being degradable. It's also said to reduce inflammation, reducing swelling and soothing burns.
It's also said that it will help sober you up and keep hangovers away. I dont recall ever having a hangover from Mead, and I've consumed entire bottles within a 2-3 hour period at 21%+.
