  1. If hp were Peso's, I wou...no of course not, thus making it scuuuury. The most I've weilded was about 750bhp...it was an International. F1 cars haven't crossed RR tracks since 89 in Detroit.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Probe-GT-RWD-Ford-Probe-GT_W0QQitemZ200163191325QQihZ010QQcategoryZ6237QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  3. No I'm not. My point is, NASCAR cars aren't scary, period. There are things I wont do, like run around Monaco with 900hp.
  4. Not looking to display them, just want my data. Need all hardware required to use the, senders, lines, etc. Let me know what you have and I'll let you know if I can afford it.
  5. No, though it may make you cry for mommy. Anyone who watches NASCAR knows that they bump with impunity because THEY CAN. There's no fear in the car, with the exception of pissing off your sponsors. Pay me enough and I'll run round in a pack of stock cars, no shitz. I just have to keep from making the Dale Sr right turn and I'll be fine. Mantoyas performance is a function of the team he is on...and I just don't give a shit anyways. We all know why he's there. You say getting bumped would make us uneasy? Hows this for comparison: http://www.bbc.co.uk/northamptonshire/content/images/2006/07/27/laura_silverstone06_400x300.jpg F1 rides, marketing disaster. The cars were much slower than racing tier cars, and only driven at about 70% with passengers...and they would not stop screaming. Not "Ohh no, this is crazy, whooooa", most were screaming as loud as they could. You can find a few of these cars still around at racing schools over on the continent, but use with the general public is pretty much done.
  6. Good stuff, send it to all of your NASCAR friends. Ask them: "Even if your BS is true, and ABS stops the car for you, and Traction control accelerates it for you; could you keep the car out of the wall?"
  7. Me too, THATS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!
  8. Hmm, on those lines, I'd be wanting to know how fast these heat pumps will spin. If I can get 400hp of air from and M90, I can port/rebuild and focus on cooling the charge. I have more room to cool it than a GTP does.
  9. As plans are, I shold be there with Pete R (ARRR!)....witha car that's only 1 color!
  10. Very vague question, I know. Winter may see a neccesary rebuild of my M90, andI'm considering putting something else in its place. Whatever goes in can be a bit longer in the case, but not in the snout. this is OE on the Jag: http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1995/check1ro6.png I'm looking for 400hp worth of air, with room to grow. I say room to grow because, even if I dont shoot higher, I don't want a strung out heat pump of a blower, that's what I have now. I'm at 320 ish right now, a simple increase in efficiency may be all I need. What does the market have in the way of roots or twin screw blowers, that suck in the back and blow out the top? If I've read correctly, you can get Eaton MP112s with varying snout lengths, but I haven't been able to confirm that with an add or a price anywhere. I petite twin screw would be just what the doctor ordered, but all I've found have been 2 liter+ monstors. I don't need 600hp. Whipple seems to be the most cooperative in terms of sizing, any input on quality? Thanks in advance.
  11. True. Personally I'd be firing whoever did the notes.
  12. Two of the chick looked good, the other two didn't look like chicks.
  13. Screaming metal, chicks, and the most hardcore sport on earth.
  14. They can't just drink and chase women? Ohhhh snap Well, they chase women sober. It's different because, when they cach them, they stone them to death.
  15. Miatas are gay, unless they have rollover protection. Then we know it's bought for abuse, and is therefore ok.
  16. Rule one of street racing: Never assume anyone else knows what the fuck they're doing. It basically means "dont race strangers unless you're fine with writing off your car and your life." Also, you were committing a crime and got boned, don't expect a stranger to stop and trust you enough not to nail his ass. When you race, you always sign the waiver. Whether its at the track and litteral, or on the street and a metaphor, you waive your rights. lol you were losing. If you were faster, he wouldn't have hit you.

You're 17 years old and have a 99GT, I find it very hard to feel sorry for you. I had to lose my liscense in an 89 Corsica....uphill both ways in the snow being chased by Commies! WOLVERINES! His car is black to represent the darkness of his soul. http://lateralus.net/images/finding_emo.jpg Sriously man, who hasn't given this speach before? I left for good once, it because I were insane lol
  19. "Who the fuck let in Robert Blake?"
  20. Something isn't right with that sentence. Do you want "cool" or nice? The centerpeice in my living room is a pair of 3'x2' blueprints of a Porsche 904 GTS and its engine. Vintage racing photography/art is something I collect, so I have some prints from 60's-70's Le Mans races, along with a 50's BMW motorcyle ad. Also featured are a pair of mountains scape photos that I took, and an event poster from the wifes work at the Zoo. None of this is what I'd call "nice", with the acception of my pastel print of an 8CTF and Silver Arrow. My tastes dictate that, if you hang something up, it aught to be interesting enough to look at. There is another realm of thought that wall art exsists only to "bring together a room" and make everything else look good. I'm sorry, but I'm not spending money on a huge print of 2 colors because it goes with my couch. Serious advise: Get on ebay and look for what you want, they have a category for it, I'm sure.
  21. If he's not already a stunt driver, it's was probably by accident. Highway stupid lane change, over correction, he got lucky and ended up on 2 wheels and realized that those effects were reproducable. I'd be happy to try this out if you guys can provide me with: -A Samurai or Bronco II -12pt cage -proper racing seat with 5pt -high pressure truck tires, something that wont peel off. -A legal place to practice. Given the opportunity to practice with impunity, I'm sure anyone here could get it down.
