  1. odd, what's a record doing on the net? I heard the words "da compootah", I lol'd
  2. Kenny kicked the box out, i.e. crossed the line. John could have been back at the 1/8th taking a nap and would have got the win. Sad stuff, but the story is classic for'm.
  3. Did it have a bit of sod stuck to the top? Cuz that's what I'd do.
  4. Britain was almost German, maybe they win more races if they'd let the Germans win.
  5. Also note the 2005 article isn't current, do you're own research and you'll find more. Random http://www.enterprisemission.com/moon1.htm
  6. If you'd posted 15min earlier, I would have gone home for lunch and begun the download.
  7. Ohhh I thought you just didn't want to do it on your lap. lol
  8. Iapetus is an oddity, but the guys article was a bit over the top. Is he implying a cover up or conspiracy? Does he understand the complexity of funding in NASA? Does he also realize that most scientists do not want to talk about something they don't understad, for fear of being made a fool later on? He is also wrong about such nicely shaped things not apearing in nature, they do. Some theories on this one: -Geologic activity. If this ridge were oriented any other way, ti would be totaly baffling. But the fact that it lines up with the equator makes it much more sensical. I would love to see this planets magnetic feild, because I'm sure it has something to do with this. -Varying density, combined with the intense tug of a gas giant. If the poles have more mass than the equatorial reagion, they will press the planet into a non-sphere as they try to meet each other. Add in the tug from Saturn, and they will also be moving toward it. This movement would shift the crust in such a manner that it would "wrinkle" at the half-way point, the equator. If the planet was indeed trapped, the conditions that formed it would not apply to it's new home. Maybe iron poles made sense adrift in space, but now that it's trapped, they are moving around. -Collapsed rings. If the planet (without an atmospher) had rings in a slowly deteriorating orbit, they could come to rest and pile up without cratering. They're made mostly of dust anyways.
  9. Thus why it's illegal. Nevrmind the vortices, his wing tip damn near clipped the ground on take-off. Hanging around Wurtsmith as a kid, we were constantly privy to low fly-overs by B52s and KC 130 tankers. No longer a SAC base, but occasionaly a 747 will rumble int othe Kalita facility there, and the Yankee air show attracts some neat birds...but nothing like the ground shaking under you as an acre of plane skims by. I'll have to check your vid when I'm not at work, cliffs?
  10. After watching it again, I still don't see an intelligable question. He was making a series of statements. The only question in all of that could have been summed up in under 5 seconds: "How can you concede the election on the night-of with millions of votes yet uncounted? Do you know about the nationwide voter fraud and disenfranchisement?" Done, no tazer.
  11. This shit is illegal as hell here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYfhC9ft_hk&feature=bz301
  12. More fresh water, Surfin on the Amazon: The hell kind of wave is that? Dig it: The Pororoca Phenomenon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VMI8EVdQBo
  13. Reminds me of: Even quoted it. lol The campus cops who zapped need to be fired. If the guy wants to say his peace, he can do it outside. A lecture is not his forum unless it's his lecture.
  14. ICE! http://www.summitpost.org/images/original/273246.jpg Ice cave on the near west side, for real: http://www.summitpost.org/images/original/273254.jpg http://www.summitpost.org/images/medium/270958.jpg Central Ohio has INCREDIBLE ice spots, if and only if we can get a month of freezing temps. Trust me, I'll keep ya safe! http://www.summitpost.org/images/original/273277.jpg

  16. Repeat: Must me SA rated. I.E. Snell SA, not Snell M. Thanks for the tip though, I do appriciate it.
  17. And I prefer full-face and not stinky. I'll be in town saturday to get on new at Jegs, let me know if I should buy yours before then.
  18. all of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ic8CWo5gKtc&mode=related&search= dare ya this too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZBA0SKmQy8&mode=related&search=

  20. In that it has four wheels, yes. The Konigsegg is the sexiest car out there at the moment, and it is because it doesn't rip off styling. It's a car shaped by the air, so really, all car should look like it. It has no ques or scoops or anything that doesn't need to be there. It desperately needs a wing, but has none. The TT, from the side, is a Diablo, without much effort being made to make it distinct. Is it a good shape? Sure. Is it the best shape? No. It a tried and tested shape, and copying it was cheaper than development. C'mon, even the doors and side-glass were kifed, they look interchangeable. SSC took a Diable model, sanded some edges, and caled it theirs. Perhaps my critisism is more for the builder than the car. You can't blame a car for being built. The front is ugly, that's a fact, not opinion.
  21. Far far from it. It will probably be 20 years befor anything comes along to mathte Veyron is terms of content and performance. No one is willing to lose that much moeny on a car. As for the numbers, I'm sure this car certainly appeals to you, as it seems to be just about raw speed. If that's all you get, you'd better get it for a raw speed price. I'm sure I could put together a 250mph car that does 73mph slaloms for much less....and it would look allot better. The side profile looks great...because they stol it. The nose is just disgusting. Those headlights are out-of-box parts for something, maybe a Prius or some Hyundai?
