  1. Indeed. Luckily, the reason measuring was so hard for me, the belt covers about 200deg of pulley surface. I can't run out to measure it right now, plus it's damned tight down there. The best I've got right now is this picture. http://i11.ebayimg.com/04/i/07/38/bd/68_1.JPG
  2. The OE pulley measures between 2.5 adn 2.75 across the ribs, probably closer to 2.75. Its difficult to get my calipers where they need to be.
  3. Ouch, good thing I've been measuring from there. Seems I've got more maths to do, like measuring my crank pulley. I was hoping for a raw CFM rate, any idea where I can get a CFM@RPM map for these? What it will probably come down to is guessing by percent diameter decreased. If what you say is true, then I already have the smallest pulley I'm going to find....unless there's OD pulleys for the M62 and they fit.
  4. Hmm, instructions? Just to make sure I'm measuring right, what is the diameter you guys are quoting for "X.xx pulley"? This is important. I'm wondering if it isn't already at its peak. How much power to GTPeople generally get out of M90s?
  5. I was more meant to illustrate the hugeness of the engine and not the blower. Yes, I'm sure its an M90. The Later V8 models use the MP112-4. Besides, the cover doesn't cover the SC, it covers the liquid-air intercooler. Check it out, only $800+ shipping Here is an ad for the blower, with pics. The Aston Martin DB7 used the same supercharged inline six, but with less displacement and a bit higher compression and hp. See, tiny snout. http://i11.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/8f/54/ec58_1_b.JPG
  6. Jag has its own snout for this, I haven't seen it anywhere on other M90 cars. I'm pretty much positive it's not an M62, and you can see that without even looking at the car. Just read the brocure; 322bhp. Would an M62 blow that much air with the same size pulley? I'm thinking no. From what I can see of the case, its not like you have, but more similar to the Super Coupes, possibly identical. I only really want 400 out of it, though this tugboat motor can probably go higher. http://www.trackaddicts.net/forum/garage.php?mode=view_gallery_item&type=garage_gallery&image_id=100 At what point do you stop squeazing this thing and just go with something else? Like a blowdrier or Novi 2000.
  7. Correction, nesting OD is 2.5 inches. Used a proper caliper this time.
  8. ummm Guys...My stock pulley is 3.1" across the rim, the nesting diameter is probably close to 2.75 or smaller. What selection is there below this? I know this blower can only be spun so fast, a 2.35 would be +15% ish.
  9. Yup, and I'm fishing for stuff that's fixin' to bounce higher. Any good online resources for history and tracking? I may invest some of my tax return, and I may also be looking to work in one of these feilds.
  10. Tuesday made me ask: Is anyone not hurting? Apart from defences contractors and energy suppliers, are any markets in the US actually making moeny? I know the garage door industry sucks right now. We're about to shut down a couple factories for a week, due to lack of work. Where's the money going?
  11. When I was 16 I learned this the hard way, I feel naked without it now.
  12. I swear to fucking god, I'm just trying to take some classes. -I'm a freshman, so they make me wait till feb 28 to register for classes. -Feb 28 comes and I cant register online, it tells me I need to talk to my advisor. My advosor tells me I need to make an appointment. Nearest open slot? Next fucking TUESDAY! Could you have fucking told me I needed my advisor BEFORE I tried to register for classes on the 28th!? -Why do I need my advisor? I didn't pass an online USAS class. "How do you fail an online class?" Easy, it's not a fucking online class. The major grades come from making appearences for stupid shit on campus at noon on weekdays. -The night classes I needed are already full. I can't get on the waiting list for them because there are still openings in the day classes. Are they not aware that "Working Students" exist!? They have no funtions whatsoever after 5pm. Prediction: I'll go meet with my advisor and nothing will be accomplished. There's no magic wand to waive, I just need her to schedule my classes for me. By tuesday, my backup classes will be full and I'll be fucked.
  13. It's not hard at all. You can buy kits with instructions. If you need further instruction, just ask. I'm actually an expert in this. Single car? Double car? Need a standard 8' high door?
  14. thought this would be an Olsen twins thread.
  15. As an impartial financial counselor, I say; yes, you certainly do. Or, if you can get a good deal on a big gig iPod, you could save even more money.
  16. I've been known to throw mine!
  17. ass, cars, and undercover brotha....it'd better be hilarious.
  18. http://www.centralohiobaseball.com Anybody have experience with them? What's it cost, when/where are games and practices, etc?
  19. Hilliard: http://www.summitpost.org/images/original/273246.jpg Dublin: http://www.summitpost.org/images/original/269525.jpg What a fuxing waste of energy. How much damage could the snowball have done? Why get worked up. Aproach them and ask them to cover teh dent wizard tab. Small claims court isn't worth the trouble for something like this. Mark drew a huge cock in the dirt on the side of my car. I wash the car to find out that the clearcoat was scratched....in the shape of a huge cock. I mention it to mark, has says "OMG sorry! I'llz cuvered it!". I buffed it out by hand, no charge, no foul, no angst, no drama, and he still wants to have my baby.
  20. I've got machine shop hookups. What I need are measurments and flow rate fromother steups so I know what i want to spec out.
