Terrorists don't drive Cougars. You're not a terrorists, are you?

Compare: http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=11619 The cougar WILL be faster then this with the same hp. Given that the cougar has an engine and trans, and is 1/2 the price, it's a no-brainer. I'm liquidating my whole road course racing operation. I haven't even had time to drive it lately, nevermind track days or installing my new toys. So no trades. What yo get is a whole lot of stuff, but summarized you get; -Strong 5.0 w/ TKO -in a IRS turn-key caged smelly loud car -a heap of parts to support the habbit of racing. -$4000 obo Still reading? Good, here is the long list of what you're getting; The Car 1991 Mercury Cougar XR7 5.0 EFI V8 / TKO By Lasota Racing Technologies. 4 wheel disc IRS Gutted interior S&W Gage Engine: 10k miles, all miles after break-in have seen mobile one Block: fully machined (deck squared, line honed, balanced) ARP wave lock rod bolts ARP main Studs FMS oil pump with hardened ARP shaft Crane cams double roller Timing chain FMS f-303 cam shaft Heads: Ported E7te castings Multi-angle valve job Milled to 58cc chambers TFS double valve springs TFS chromoly locks and retainers Teflon valve stem seals ARP head bolts Intake: FMS cobra upper and lower intake manifolds FMS 65mm throttle body SN95 70mm air meter with custom cold air intake and K&N filter Exhaust: MAC 1 1/2\" primary shorty headers (chrome) Off-road Downtubes (2 1/2\") 2 1/2\" Thrush mufflers, dumped Cooling system: Pep-boys 3-core radiator Fuel system: BBK 190lph in-tank fuel pump flow-matched 19lb injectors Drive Line: TKO 5spd trans & fresh clutch FMS aluminum center section with 4.30 gears One Piece Aluminum drive shaft included Ignition: Crane HI-2000 ignition Crane fireball coil FMS 9mm plug wires Optima Red top battery relocated to the passenger seat pan in NHRA legal box with battery cut of switch misc: A/C and Smog pump (and equipment) removed Interior totaly gutted, only drivers seat remains (passenger seat available) Comes with Kirkey aluminum bucket and seat cover/pad G-force 5 point 6pt roll cage Custom tube framed dash with aluminum skin (all you need, nothing you dont. Carbon Fibre dash shell included, never got around to mounting it) Autometer Phantom water temp and oil pressure gauges Suspension: Factory IRS (comes with spare reinforced subframe and aluminum lower control arms.) Eibach Pro kit Rear lateral brace Wheels/brakes: Rolling on OE 16x7.5 with good 245/50/16 tires comes with; -4 Cobra R replica rims, 17x9 -4 98 cobra rims Cobra 13" brake upgrade kit for front wheels. Includes front hub conversion (what the 98 wheels are for) -2 16x7.5 SC rims with BFG Comp T/As -4 street tires for 17" rims -4 DOT race slicks for 17" rims. The last lapping event that the car made it to was Mid Ohio on the Club course. At the time, it was still an Auto, and had no 4th gear. It also had a 3.27 open diff, and was unable to acclerate out of turns, it just destroyed tires. Despite these glaring problems, it still managed to lap consistently in the 1:45-1:50 range. Now, it will certainly accelerate out of corners, when I bought it (with a full interior) it would do a 1/4 mile in the low 13s. 5 forward gears means it will blast past the old 3speed 100mph ceiling, making the straightaways more useable. Installing the new brakes will mean you can brake later and with more confidence. This car is fast now, and has outstanding potential as a dedicated road course car. Buy it now and, if we can fit all the extra stuff in it, you can drive it home. Pictures of anything are available apon request, just give me an e-mail adress. $4000obo (if you wanna do the 2007 challenge, maybe we can work on th epaperwork ) Pics: Seen with 16" street going wheels http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/3766/sidero0.jpg Unspecting look, aye? http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/3338/frontwk3.jpg Low, but not too low for your jack http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/9615/rearzx4.jpg Layered Carbon Fiber dash shell. See, post-1993 benzes FTL. My 190E has 240k on the clock and has only cost me an alternator in the last year. Those 500Es are hand built (accept for some of the welding).
-
Simple: I'm considering buying a car that has special flared fenders made of 100% pure Unobtainium. You cant find them anywhere, they only imported 500 cars a year, and for only 3 years. So, to prepare for the worst, I'm wanting to find a place that will make moulds of these fenders for me, for later reproduction in fiberglass or CF. Anyone know somebody?
-
Nope. One for the radiator, one is for the wipers, and the other *might* be for a dry sump oil system. I know they did that with their old 6.9ltr cars, I'll have to research this.
-
You aught to buy the Cougar too! I'll sell you everything automotive that I own (accept for tools) for $10g. That's two cars and alot'a parts/rims/tires. Then I could afford the 500E.
-
He walks around with his foot in his mouth.

$7000, needs a diff cover....or the diff needs topped off every once in a while. Other then that, it's ready to flog. You can flog it now, just be mindfull of the diff drip.

80 miles away and $12,500. http://images.autotrader.com/images/2006/10/12/210/616/1072712099.210616144.IM1.MAIN.565x421_A.561x421.jpg I can afford much newer Benzs then I'm looking at, and honnestly I'd much rather have an old one, especialy as a DD. With an 07 I'm sure you get a warranty, but you're still Ohne Benz for x weeks a year while they fix whatever is wrong with it. Untill they convince me that they're back to over-engineering, I'd avoid any benz made after 93 (unless you've got money enough not to care). They changed their philosphy 'round then and have gone from producing the worlds best reviewed and most reliable cars to literaly being among the worst in both categories. Their current customer service reputation sucks ass, too. This 500E is a prime example. Each took 18 days to build, and were hand assembled, partially by Mercedes, and then Porsche. Dont get a C230, get a 190E 2.3 16v Cosworth, you'll love it to death: love it

I beleive they are current competitors in the Red Bull Air Racing series.

My current Benze is presently being straightened out and beutified, soon to be sold. I'm going to be replacing it with a bit bigger Benz. Yup, 0-100kmh in just under 6 seconds One word: Where? http://www.e500.org/500e%20014.jpg

There's one of these for sale near by...in my price range...and I'm in the market....but I don't wanna go back in debt or pay the insurance...but its a Benze 500E...I don't want a 500E....I don't want a 500E, I don't want a 500E, I don't want a 500E................ http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9abf948c-3680-440b-8ed4-980c01267dcf.htm 0-60 in just under 6 seconds in a mid-sized 4 door luxury car mit almost the same power as my track car. I don't want a 500E, I don't want a 500E, I don't want a 500E, I don't want a 500E! http://www.tvnet.lv/auto/images/upload/bullis-500E.jpg

Kill yourself now. Too much stern.

TSA "watch list" is all fake and random names. True story. Printing an actual watch list with actual names of people being investegated would compramise the FBI, NSA and the CIAs work. They dont like letting out the names of people they're watching.
-
I can imagine that those passes were hell on a clutch. You've got: -A car that heavier then most. -With fuck'tons more power then most. -Sending it to all 4 wheels. I've never seen AWD "shit'n'git" like that. You're going to have to mash up Jesus and make a clutch out of him if you ever expect to go as fast as you can.

3600lbs, if everyone was a slim 150 lbs. It was probably closer to 4500lbs. If the elevator was made for 2500lb, the emergency friction brake cant be expected to perform with more then 1000lb over, they only test to +25%. 2000lb over = doom. I've changed my opinion of this kid. You dont flee a half stopped elevator, dumb.
