  1. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/IMG_0509.jpg Looks like it survives on eating clams and crustations.
  2. I dont hear you proving me wrong. I see a tach, but none of the smaller gauges are remotely readable. One might be the speedo, and it might be at about 70, but fuck, it could be a temp gauge in C. Hp moves boats, torque moves generaters, which move electic motors, which move big boats. How many 100mph boats have you built with 600lb ft cummings diesels sporting only 300hp? Zee-Roe. Physics applies everwhere, you want to accelerate fast, you need HP and torque. If you just want to go fast, all you need is HP and patience. It's a big single rotary, it could be anywhere between 300 and 700 hp. I'll take 300hp and 60 mph without complaint.
  3. did anyone find Geely? I'd heard they were there, but couldn't find them. My favorite stop of the show was the Audi S lineup. 4,6, and 8, you just cant go wrong (ignoring price). The Porsche Caymen S is a damned attractive car, and I'd love to own one, but why can Porsche just come clean and call it what it is, a Boxter hard top? I'd also like to know why this was in the basement and not upstairs? http://thewoodomain.net/files/11/volta.jpg
  4. worked fine for about ten thousand years. http://www.downtheroad.org/southamerica/images/New_Folder8/DSC00150.JPG
  5. I've been called a Moron, is that close wnough?
  6. When will GM realize that not everything looks good with a hood scoop? http://thewoodomain.net/files/11/mail.jpg
  7. Renault hat Bitches! Was that your white van with the Ferrari fan manning the left window?
  8. Incorrect. That was not a 5 screw destroyer, it was a lil jetboat. Youre trying to spin the props fast, and for that you need hp. You need torque to accelerate all the drivetrain (if its a twin screw), but you're top end will be the same as any other 600hp boat that size.
  9. There is a company commercialy offering rotary marine engines....and they're Deisel!
  10. OMG a GURLZ!111!! OMFGHi2U!! http://www.summitpost.org/images/164130.JPG http://www.summitpost.org/images/164126.JPG
  11. Nope she's not qiute ready for winter alpinism yet. Though she has started pulling plastic (gym climbing). Elena and I are off to NH for a winter alpine course and Ice Climbing school. I recomended Elena do it since she's real green with this stuff. But it's basicaly all the stuff I've been doing, but done right, so it wont kill me to go with and pay attention (I'm licky doing it my way hasn't killed me). Plus its a damn cheap week of vacation, $650 covers it all, even food and lodging. They may have one slot left big guy. p.s. I'm going to arm Justin with some ketchup one of these days.
  12. Many good times. The youngest of those pics is a year old. I'll take some more this feb, but it will be the apalachians, not near the scenery you get int he rockies. 13. The 65 Lincoln Continental was born of fire and brimstone on the still hidden surface of the gas planet we know as Jupiter. The extreme force of gravity turned the car into a super dense, long and wide phallus of a vehicle. It was equipped with doors that double as an air brake in either direction. The thick gauge steel survived many a reentry. The 430 cui MEL engine was forged by Vulcan himself on the nearby moon of Io. This power plant provided the torque and power neccesary to move Europa far enough away that it froze over, making its surface drivable, and a great place to store massive kegs. The rings of Jupiter are actualy the solidified emissions from this motor, created as the Continental gained the speed neccsary to break from the massive grip of the gas giants gravity. In speed and comphort it hurdled through space, crashing to the earth 65mil years ago, wiping out 90% of life on earth. It was discovered in 1964 by mad scientist searching the coastal waters of the Yucitan penninsula. What his intentions were, no one knows. His vessle was found adrift with no fuel and no one on board, just massive splaters of dried blood. The Continental used this marine fuel and trapped souls to travel the world, looking for a mate. This brought it to Detroit, where it spread its seed with reckless abandon. The rest is history. On a serious note, the trunk echos. No, shutup, I'm not joking, talk into the opened truck, you get an echo back, I swear to Gwar.
  14. hehehehe He's capitalizing on this to try and sell books, how cute.

  20. For a freind who's moving outa the country. Not gunna get into a whol helluva lot of detail. Pretty car that you can drive about...with suicide doors. If you want a 65 continental and have $4250 to spend on it, this is your car. It's garaged in West Chester, Oh (cincinatti). http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/1/4/82282714.htm
  21. Actualy it looks like a "Insert rear engine mid 60's sportscar here". The shape was determined by the air for the most part.
  22. Beat me to it. http://fastcoolcars.com/images/wallpaper13/old_lambo.jpg Hell yeah seriously. Deffinately better then the Gillardo. I like it, but again its retro crap, so it batter offer something damned distinctive mechanicaly. But then again, technicaly Lamborghini retro would look like this: http://es56194.easystreet.com/Photo%20Gallery%20pages/Day%203%20San%20Marino%20to%20Urbino/images/Lamborghini%20tractor.jpg
