  1. http://www.freakstylemediagroup.com/autoassets/noct.htm I heard about it on the radio. Is it going to be like a "Hot ImportNights-Berlin edition", or will it be something worth going to?
  2. Couple things... -Depends on Driver. It takes a few trips to the track to get the absolute best time out of a car. When you have a test driver presented with a pack of fresh cars, he accurately represents a buyer hopping dealerships, and he'll bang gears as a new owner would. Also, GM lies. They'll list a drag time that was taken on Comp TA's and is the best of 20 runs, just so the consumer doesnt realize they can make a GTO just as fast for 60% the cost. Take a dealer stock C6 auto coup and run a 12.7, I bet no one here can. -NSX's suck...they suck bad. an even bigger waste of cash then a vette no matter where you buy it. They run about £63,000 over there, which equals about $110,000, and cost $89,000 here. Much smaller price differential.....but still a rip off. BTW, from Discovery.com's reply service: "It was not cancelled, it has run its course. It is currently being revamped for the US, and should air again in December."
  3. For the price and similar headache of importing a Skyline, you can. 20,000p is about $38,000 US. Import it and the motor separate, liscense it as a kit. Or Ship it without an engine all together, and buld yourself a nice little honda plant for it, a turbo S2000 motor shoud bolt up to the gearbox.
  4. err... how does it work? lol Can ya email me the episodes? I'm dumb.
  5. In Britain the base model Corvette coupe rings in at £45,850 ($85,660) and the convertible at £51,850 ($96,867). Those are entry level cars, not Z06's. If the slowest available Corvette, the drop top auto, costs over $100,000 after tax, titles, and fees...would you buy it? Would you give it a good reveiw if the price put it in the same territory as Ferrari's and Porsche's? If I had 70,000p to spend, It wouldn't go into a Z06, it's go into a Ferrari or a GT3. A good $40,000 car is a shitty ass $100,000 car.
  6. because it illustrates how much i suck at the internet, and therefore makes it a joke, for the laughing.
  7. What am I bitching about? You could conquer the Luftwaffe with that plan, of course you need extensive liscensing.
  8. I thought Kits didn't require a standard pvt liscense? The densions of the legend actualy make it a similar aircraft to the one listed above. A bit longer, but it has a shorter wingspan. And the rated range at 17,000/330mph is a little over 1000mi, that'll get you where you need to go, quickly and with only 1 stop.
  9. The tool that acts as our shipping/receiving clerk is probably about to get fired. For a detailed job description, as Rigsby aka turborex, he used to have this job.
  10. If yo park your cruiser in a conspicuous spot, in an area known for accidents, you will do more for traffic safety then writing tickets. People will see you and they will slow down. You will not write many tickets that day. If they see you with some one pulled over, they know you're buisy, and keep right on speeding. So, in keeping the people safe, your department misses out on revenue, and you will be bitched at.
  11. Google that phone number, he appears to be popular. I am so 733t!!!!
  12. No.....no. Too slow and Lumbering. Seek ye the Turbine Legend. http://www.innovativewings.com/images/JohnCooktl.gif 750hp? 300+mph crusing speed? 400+mph top speed? 6500 FPM rate of climb? 190 deg per sec roll speed? 150mph straight up? Yes please. Its a minniature P51, but faster and more nimble. Put a chain gun on it and you'll have air superiority in 80% of the world nations. Click the pic for vids. Fo Shizzle or buy the kit
  13. Actualy, if you're serious about hyper'200mph speeds, I'd be happy to help you out with planning and prepping. I may be able to bring along a retired PHD in Aeonautical Physics to help out, he's bored. Let me know and I'll ask him.
  14. Your new calling in life is to distribute the episodes to us! Where are you getting them?
  15. Of course thats what you're being told. See above post, quotas are illegal by state law. That doesn't stop the departments from saying "you ARE expected to get 3 an hour", you just wont find it in writing.
  16. I just expect a good show to be replaced with a better one, not OMG look at these cripples we dragged into the woods on parade.
  17. So...where the fuck is it? 10pm wedsdays on the Discovery channel, right? WTF is with the cripples in the jungle? What sick fuck pitched this at a board meeting? "Hey, we need some reality show where people break down on cammera...HEY! Lets take a bunch of british cripples and stick in the fucking jungle, then film them as they break down in the sheer impossible'tude of their situation! It'll be fucking great!" So anyways, what the fuck happend to Top Gear, the discovery channel site is fucking useless, all flash, and no links work.
  18. Go bigger then a big block. http://www.autoshopracingengines.com/images/machine_shop/autoshop_dyno_turning.jpg I've always liked the Mountains

  20. I realy have no need for another center section. I'm looking at cleaning house, here.
  21. Nothing. I'm eyeing the cougar and seeing dollar signs, may be time for it to split soon. I'm probably going to ebay my 2 pumpkins, unless I get a great offer here. They fetch a healthy price even without the locker and steep gears.
  22. It's nice, but there's something boring about crate motors.
