Communism drain USSR out of existence, and cant feed family on vodka, this means crazy savings for you! http://cgi.ebay.com/1959-MiG-17-PF-Fresco-D-Russian-Fighter-Jet-Plane-Mach1_W0QQitemZ6552729402QQcategoryZ14050QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Mig-29-JET-AIRCRAFT-FREE-1983-WITH-40-TTSN-LANDA_W0QQitemZ7537722381QQcategoryZ3258QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/aero-L-29-delfin-Jet_W0QQitemZ4568212657QQcategoryZ26428QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Antonov-AN-2T-Russian-Bi-Plane-flyable-condition_W0QQitemZ4567157170QQcategoryZ63677QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

A dorky model. I'm considering attempting an RC X-43. I built an 8" glider version to start off with, but it flies like a roller pigeion. I'll probably end up using the X43-B, the canards will help keep the nose up and give me another control surface. I managed to find a pdf of some 50's-60's text book exerpt. As I was reading it, I was saying to myself "this actualy works?" Still haven't realy found a means to control throttle, though. A SCRAMjet would be cool, but I'm not sure about the Mach5 stall out speed, seems unsafe for an RC plane. Having no moving parts and being extremely laight makes them intriguing, though. I read about PDWE's a while back, they were billed as "external combustion jets"....and they dont make sense. It's far too inefficient to have the explosion happen without a chamber. Did anyone consider the fact that maybe what they heard and saw were just jets with problems? Imagine, for a second, that it does work. You have combustion capable of propelling an air craft beond hypersonic...thats alot of thrust. Imagine that hitting you in the ass in a pulse, you'd hemorage.

I'm trying to find info on these, and I'm finding the intarweb a bit dry. I want to know how they work, down to every part, and if you can control throttle. Anyone know any good resources? Pulse-jet.com showed promise, but all the links there seem to be dead.

Then why are you critiquing anything's handling? "I drive porshes" doesn't mean you know anything about proper handling, it just means that stugart is throwing pearls before swine (as usualy happens in the US). If you could properly manipulate those cars at 100% of their ability, you would know that there is absolutely no comparison whatsoever. Driving a car and jerking the wheel from time to time gives no real indication of handling. Due to his real life experience, Matt is in a far better position to comment in this thread. And mike, it is possible to make a well handling Live axle car...in the world of live axle cars. All things being relative, a 67 GT500 handles superbly compared to a 67 straight six convertable. But compare that GT500 to a contemporary IRS car, and it'll be out handled. Live axle cars dominate drag strips. The only road race series where they dominate are the ones where live axles are a rule. You can build a live axle car to handle "well", but if you're going for maximum handling performance, you go with the IRS. The technology is a half century old, and Ford is finaly catching on. MN12s and FN10's were Fords test beds through the 90s. -

Nothing billed as a sport vehicle should have Live axles. Tow vehicles = Live axle Off road = Live Axle work truck = live axle OMG teh fazt sport truxors!= IRS, responcive steering, and proper brakes. They should at least try to make it actualy sporty, not just lower and an supercharge it then bill it as badass. As it is, it's not good at anything but Dyno's. It'd be a great tow truck, if the rear was sprung for it. -
I cant shed my gut no matter how hgard I work out....and I dont care. I'm physicaly able to do everything I want to do, and that some very physical shit. Most ladies dont care, Mine gives....well, gave them something to hold onto. When the apocalypse comes, we'll survive more easily, love your gut, and it will love you.

this isn't tough. You have a right to freedom of speech by mouth and in the decoration of your property. The school isn't his property, it's the school boards. If they dont want shit hanging there, it dont have to hang there. If he was preaching verbaly, they'd have better luck making a "freedome of speach" case. But as it stands, he was decoration other peoples shit with his beleifs. Case closed, ruling in the school boards favor.

Only pikeys. The lightning may outhandle a GTP, but that just means they both suck at turning. You've seent heir countless failed attempts to kill their old ass Toyo pickup, right? The last instalment I caught involvedthem putting iy atop a 20 story apartment high rise....then blowing the building up. The truck still drives. -

I dont see what every one is getting bent out of shape about. He makes fun of everything. Have a fuckign sence of humor. Look at their reveiw of the new mustang. It sucked, they made fun of it, and gave it a positive reveiw. Furthermore, he's right. -The truck doesn't make sence in brittain -The truck is constructed with outdated technology, the live axle should be dead and gone -The interiors are assembled poorly -The truck is ass happy, and brakes poorly...it's a truck -People do get eaten by bears in North Americans. -There is incest goingon in the back hills -It sucks off road. "Oh, but it's only 2wd". It's a fucking truck, it should be ready to perform work oriented tasks. "That's not what that truck was built by SVT to do." What was it designed to do? Drage race? > Shitty traction. Road race? > cant handle or brake for shit. "Good for a truck" means nothing Top Speed? > horrible drag Hual stuff? > Maybe tow, but the suspension blows for having a loaded bed. It's just a standard cab short bed with a potent engine. Dont get pissed at the limey because he picked through the hype. He compared it to the many other new cars he's driven, and it didn't measure up. Oh, and -the nazi's lost the war because they invaded Russia. We helped, we didn't do all the work. If Hitler had honored his non-agression pact with Stalin and focused all his forces to the west, the outcome may have been very different. The lightnig is a fast truck.....thats it. It not good at anything else but being faster then other trucks. -
Push yourself till it hurts Jesse, that's all you've every seemed to lack. You're not in bad shape,a nd you've got a grasp of a training regiment. But, you're never going to be as fast as you can be unless you ignor your body-imposed speed limit, dig deep, and run untill you blood burns and your heart is trying to escape. It'll hurt, ya may even puke at the end (saw it all the time in track), but you'll heal in a couple days, and you'll be able to up the pace of your training.

was that an F15? The goose owned him.

Yes, he's management and GM, and we all know the only people making any money at GM are Wagoner and Lutz. Thats why he lives in an apartment and drives borrowed cars....and will untill he's laid off. We have a neighbor who lives in a $500/mo 2 bdrm apartment and drives a brand new S4, its called being single.

I tried deleting my sign-in name, and it reverted back to my login. Either the exchange information and ideas on message boards absolutely sucks, or I suck at it, probably the latter. Either way, I'm solving the problem. I fucked up in Meetings and events and didn't even know it, and its costing me. It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't rely on the board to get my cancellation across. So I'm removing it as a habbit/option.

My brother is shopping for work. He has broken records at the company he works at, and is loved by all the staff accept for one person, the one he has to work for. A number of people in his dept have said they would follow him if he quit, so they can be of use, too. He has 2 years experience here and over a dozen people on the floor and in corperate to back him as references. He has a work ethic that boggles the mind, and is taking night classes. He makes $12/hr now, it'd be nice to no go below that. If you're looking for some one who can manage people, and isn't afraid to bust his own ass when needed, contact me here, or by PM. Thanks

these are still the most recent I've been able to find, plus they seem to be actual satilite imagest, not arial shots. Plust there's just more of the world there, looks like everything but the poles. See, here's Everest, summit at centerr. Also, check out China's Forbidden City, and The Giza Plateau. the Eifel Tower, and The London Bridge, along with a destroyer. What can you find? How about Toledo's Nuke plant? [ 08. July 2005, 04:07 PM: Message edited by: The Stig ] -
what kind of material are you using for the nozzle? I'm assuming you're making a Rutan'esque rocket?

excuse me? A; When discussed with Ben at the idea's inception, I was told "backpacking". Backpacking means, takin upo some shit and hitting a trail for a day, I didnt know there weas going to be camping. Even so, I still said "It's up to Elena". B; I dont see how that was ever not clear. She waited untill the last minute to decide, because she wanted to go, but didnt know how she'd do. C; I was told by several of you NOT to bring her, and I'dmade it clear that she's not getting left alone. I posted the day before you left that we were not going to make it. Dont bitch at me because something I warned you might happen ended up happening. Who says I wasn't going to call? If I had thought you guys were actualy planning on me being there, I would have. You guys never answered my requests of an ETA at the tunnel, I honnestly didn't think you were planning on us being there. I'm sick of defending myself on this subject, you guys have to understand that my time is NOT my own anymore. You fucking think I didn't want to go?

It can be powered, in fact, it has to be. The rule simply says it must fly if unpowered. The rule exists to keep people from staging 3 E9's and just shooting them the entire distance. gotta be a plane....ish....thing. You can buy anything you want, I sure as hell aint cooking no engines. Nothing says you have to use rockets, just seems to be the cheapest way of going about it. I found a good place to do tests late at night (11ish), I'll prbably go out there with an airframe or two tonight. All are free to join in.

straight unguided flight is probably next to impossible for the didtances discussed here. Wind fucks it all up, this is going to be difficult. graemlins/thumb.gif

I was under the impression that it was illegal to take arial and satilite photo's of US military intstallations anywhere. Some areas are a higher resolution then others, mostly areas they think people will care about. holy shit, look to the west, huge crater(s). Neat shit, I'll be poking aroundhere for a while. Buncha roads shooting off in all directions, follow them. graemlins/thumb.gif [ 07. July 2005, 12:45 AM: Message edited by: The Stig ] -
