  1. Actualy, in 30 years, all these kids will be growed up and wanting to build "classic" civics like the ones thay had. You could make a mint selling that shit for "period peices".
  2. yup, I was the first, started about 2.5 years ago. Since then Brian/Unleashed, and Brian/Stockv6 have gotten jobs there and held them, one other memebr worked there breifly, no comment. tongue.gif You interested?
  3. I did not see the 4th page when I wrote about the grandness of Racoon ownership.....should I avoid said 4th page?
  4. You're not the boss, you just do all his work. tongue.gif
  5. No. 1st shift only, 40 hour week only. 8am-4:30 pm, 2 paid breaks and an unpaid lunch. You guys want this job, trust me, but in turn we want a work ethic. Plus, if you can smoke a pole like Rigsby, you might move up fast like him too. tongue.gif
  6. Movin' into a place, and for hte sake of saving space, I'm looking for an over/under style. Got one? How tall? Thanks Eric
  7. Is it still considered Jungele Feaver even if it's this kind of coo.....nevermind tongue.gif Beleive it or not, Raccoons make great pets. Cat size, but smarter. Get'm young, keep'm clean, and train them right, you'll love it. Fried had a fat fucker of a coon for a while, great pet.
  8. scanned another http://www.summitpost.org/images/135598.jpg
  9. the bodies membranes are fickle bitches, and the tympanic membrane is the smallest and most taught of them all. They can heal and regenerate. Perforations that result from infections, as when a tympanic membrane bursts, or when chronic infections have led to irreparable damage to the membrane itself, often do not heal. But if you just poked a hole in it with a Q tip or by some other trauma, your chances are better. So the question is HOW did you pop your drum, man? also, bleeding from the ear needs medical attention period. With pain, no pain, headache, lightheadedness, euforia, etc etc, doesn't matter, all bad. Blood in the ear is a big ol "check engine" light for your head.
  10. http://www.kit4u.co.uk/acatalog/Quarkergo.JPG Luckily nothing. The route left me 0 margin for error, though, and I was the only one on the mountain. If anything would have happened, I'd be a battered icy corpse. So, not the best idea.
  11. I want enough downforce to change the weather.
  12. simplified: RPM x Tire O.D. / (final drive x top gear) x 336 = MPH@ given RPM Its easier to wrap ones mind around the equasion when its not surrounded by paragraph. Ther ei s one significant variable in this, tire Outer Diameter. Its constantly changing with wear, and effects your reading. On top of that you need confidence in your tach's acuracy.
  13. not quick enough, trust me. This board has seen members with 7 second cars. As for whats the fastest car currently running, that should only be found out the hard way.
  14. Climing isn't easy, but I'm talking about "mountaineering" specificaly. You can "climb" in a warehouse down on busch bvld. The hardest part of bagging summits inst the actula climbing, and hte biggest danger isn't always falling. The lack of oxygen, presure, warmth, and hydration make for an environment that is so exhausting that it kills you. Above 19,500~ you dont have to do anything but sit on a rock, play gameboy, and stay warm, well fed and hydrated, and you'll still be dead in a few days. Here give this a read, stories like this are fairly common; http://www.summitpost.org/show/trip_report.pl/mountain_id/11/trip_report_id/130 By worldly standards, that is a fairly easy peak, since there are hundreds that are more challenging. Thats why I say its the most challenging environment on earth, I think you'd like it. You're a prime candidate for getting hooked on peak bagging after your first successful summit. graemlins/thumb.gif
  15. Long Peak, my first (successful) winter solo, first time ever on the route I took...It was a realy bad idea. graemlins/doh.gif But I live, and thanks to Unipod, my one legged colapseable tripod, I was able to get a shot of myself.
  16. for gods sake, this aint hard, chipper/shredder + bags and bags of ice. Like in Fargo, but replace steve bucemi with the ice.
