    eyelines

I run a parts store on the West side of town, so I speak fluent westsider, asshat, incomprehensible Spanglish, and just about any other bastardization of the English language. This wasn't hard at all... She meant "I have carbon fiber eyeliners (Wheelwell mouldings) and I need to know what kind of glue to use to attach them to my car." No flame intended Jenn, I knew what you meant.

Go to Advance or NAPA and pick up 3M Super Weatherstrip adhesive, part # 08001. (It looks like yellow toothpaste, but is made to attach trim and emblems also.)
  3. Powered by Geo - Where do you work? I've got some pretty good stories of particularly bright customers too....
  4. The internet exposure this has gotten is unreal. If you check the site, and refresh every few seconds, the view count goes up by 10-15 every 10 seconds. You'd think this guy would've made good by now just to get this to stop and his side on the web.
  5. You know I'll be there. Beeuuutch.
  6. First off I don't see too many 600's running 11's stock, I know of one that couldn't out run a low 13 sec mustang on the freeway. Second why is it that everyone calls bullshit on a 11.00 mustang beating a busa yet, you say your 600 can beat one. [/QB] I have a buddy with an FZR 600 (1993) with a pipe and a jet kit that ran 11.32 @ 117 MPH On the flip side, I rode my ZX-9R Ninja to an 11.08 @ 131 MPH.. What does this mean? I'm not a bike drag racer. I love to ride, but I'm no Rickey Gadson. A 600 can be a seriously fast machine if ridden properly. Said FZR was also completely smoked on the freeway by another friend with a bone stock 02 GSXR600. New 600 technology allows these things to make ~100 rwhp and weigh 350-375 pounds... You do the math. No, they don't have the power and torque of a literbike, but unless you ride like a moron, who'll miss it? I bought mine because a 600cc bike that runs well with a 150lb rider doesn't work nearly as well with a 300lb rider.
  7. Let me translate that in case some of us don't speak "Dumbass ricer": "We raced an automatic 94 V6 Mustang with two spark plug wires pulled off and fucking RAPED it in my buddy's Z24. No, wait. It was a Cobra. Yeah, that's it! He hit the spray on us and almost pulled even, but in true Fast & Furious style, I looked over and said "Smoke 'em", he pulled six downshifts and laid rubber while pulling away. Cars with V8s suck, dude... get with the program."
  8. I didn't know you knew what fast was?!?!

    V8 rx7?

His name is Chris, I think... I met him when I worked at the NAPA in Grandview a few years back... I think his wife owns Economic Leasing there on Grandview Ave... he has some pretty cool stuff, he actually let me take a spin in the red one (1988 or so) and it was a blast!!
  10. This wouldn't have a Cavalier steering wheel and black 5 spoke wheels, would it?

This problem has been around for a while, and affects 2.2L S10s, Cavaliers, Sunfires, etc. I hear them every day. Dealer says this noise is normal, however can be corrected by using an updated timing chain guide(s).
  13. Good advice, but don't pester. I had a guy that called me every day for two weeks, and I finally told him that he was pissing me off, and I would forward his application to our corporate office. (Applications forwarded to corporate generally end up inactive after 30 days, unless you're a superstar... which this guy wasn't.)

You mean the drunk tags? smile.gif
  15. I'm thinking there was at least something wrong with that dude's eye beforehand... there is no way that first right hand did that, and that guy didn't stay down. None. The other guy was no little fella either... if I hit someone with everything I had and he said anything, let alone "Hit me again" I'd quit. smile.gif
  16. Or, both of them at the same time. They're good looking, and rich. We've all slept with worse, and they weren't even rich. Right?

  19. That makes me want to show him what a right cross with 315 pounds behind it feels like. Punk bitch.
  20. I run an Advance auto store... I'm pretty sure that AutoZone has the same scan tool we do, which is capable of reading VW/Audi, we just don't have the appropriate cable(s). You might try calling around.
  21. I know... that's what I was getting at. From what I understand about the clutch in an LT1 car, it would be a lot of trouble to retrofit a Z06 clutch when you could buy a better aftermarket piece cheaper. I was looking at a Z06 clutch setup for my 99 SS before I bought the Z.
