  1. Sigh... I put a stiffer wastegate spring in it. That isn't the problem. The problem is, you have to ground a wire going to the ECM to prevent it from shutting off the fuel under higher boost. The instructions told me to check for continuity between a terminal of the fuel pump relay and the ECM wire before I spliced and grounded it. Now, the instructions said to do it at the ECM. Me, being a total dumbass, thought it would be easier to do it at the relay. In the process, I broke a resistor inside the pump relay. The car ran up until this point. Now, I purchased a new fuel pump relay, plugged it in, but it won't run at all. I've got spark, it's CIS (so I can't really check for fuel) but I can't get it to run on ether either. The timing belt isn't broken, and I for the life of me can't figure it out.
  2. Cool, thanks. Looks like I'll call them in the morning.
  3. Okay, long story short... Performance upgrades > me. Anyone have a shop they'd recommend to take an older Audi to? It's going to be on a tow truck, so I'd like to keep it around the north end of town if anyone has a good suggestion. I deal with a lot of shops through work, but none that I can think of with the experience to troubleshoot the problem(s) I apparently caused. Thanks!
  4. Yeah, me too. It was Parts America when I was there.
  5. You know what's weird? I hate her with every fiber of my being; but still find her attractive in some disgusting and inexplicable way.
  6. Sorry if it's a repost, but I've never seen it. http://www.livevideo.com/video/282DF1EC0C114E67B96B28CD117D1A03/creative-towing.aspx
  7. Older than the internet itself... but still funny.
  8. I made $14 an hour there five years ago... ? By the way, (00TypeR) don't apply at a store. Worthless. Call the 1-800 number on the front window of any store and tell them you're interested in a job.
  9. Bump for a good price. The Manheim market report (dealer auction sales) shows an average of $10,712 for a truck with that kind of mileage. That's what dealers are paying at the auctions... you'll pay a lot more than that if you want to buy one.
  10. What would you do? Get up on my feet and let go of every excuse... What would you do? 'Cause I wouldn't want my baby to go through what I went through... What would you do? Get up on my feet, stop making tired excuses...
  11. My thoughts exactly; I had this happen to a hot water heater once.
  12. True story. Sam doesn't drive a 360 Modena for nothing.
  13. I'm not sure, but I thought it was BASF that did the paint for the 96?
  14. Not the one I'm thinking of????
  15. Not exactly. JCI (Johnson Controls) makes Autocraft and Optima batteries, (sold at Advance) Duralast, (Autozone) Diehard, Motorcraft, and a few others. They also manufacture Interstate batteries, so your statement is partially true. Delphi makes ACDelco batteries, as well as most of the Everstarts sold at Wal-Mart. Everstarts suck ass, while most people seem to have good luck with the ACDs. I have also had good luck with Advance batteries though the Economy series are worthless.
  16. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz went the green neon lights under the Civic
  17. Sold, please lock. Don't ever say I didn't try to make someone a deal; it sold for $1745.00.
