I love them, if you want to make 500rwhp on a stock bottom end these are the heads you want.

The trick flow heads are making more power and out flow the AFRs. I am thinking about selling my ported LS6 heads to buy a set of trick flows. I wish these heads would have been out when i bought mine. There are stock bottom end ls1 powered cars making 500+rwhp with these heads.

The bottom ends are the same. 01 and new ls1 powered cars all have the ls6 intake manifold. Why does the zo6 have the old vette wheels?

RPM transmissions builds all lingenfelters transmissions. This is the only shop i would have build my trans.

I did say around and most zo6 make that power with full exhaust and intake.

I would but then again I already work on sundays.

A bolt on C5 will make around 350rwhp and a bolt on zo6 with make about 370rwhp. If you do a head and cam package both cars will make the same power. The zo6 is only about 200 pounds lighter or two tenths of a second.

Taller tire and spinning the motor to 7k. I have a stock bottom end LSx and I shift at 6900.

If you go FI then I would change the gear ratio of your car. 3.90/4.10s will not be fun at 550rwhp on the freeway. What cam is in your car and how high are you reving your motor?

i paid $1200 for a bone stock 92 awd DSM. i spent another $800 on go fast parts and had a mid 12 second car. After i broke a valve in the first motor (i thought it popped) i picked up another motor for $400 that last about 4 months. I then sold the car with a blown motor for $950.

Try getting rid of the breathers on the vavle covers and see if that helps. Is the oil just sitting in the heads? Also with a ported LS6 oil pump 50psi is normal on start up.
