So does my 502. I just choose not to put junk gas in a motor that is spinning 3000+ rpm all day. How many actually hours have you put on the boat's hours gauge? No one cares how much gas you claim you used when you sit in the same spot all day. :lolguy: I love watching all these guys come out to the lake with their twin engine boats who drive across the lake anchor in the swim area or tie up at the bar and then drive straight back to the dock so they don't burn any fuel. That is not boating.

Wow, that boat has HUGE power (1500 hp) in it for a single engine 30 ft boat to run over 100.

I put $210 worth of gas in the boat today and it was just under the full mark when we started the day. It is now just under 3/4 full. I might get two weekends of boating out of this tank of fuel.

With the same power his boat will always be faster since it is much lighter and smaller however, my boat will be able to run it's top speed from one side of the lake to the other with no issues and Sam will have to let out of it at any large wave/wake. You can stand in my boat while driving and it has a small cuddy, where you have to sit in Sam's and there is only a crawl space up front.

Yeah, Baja's are the mustangs of the boating world, everyone has one and they all think they are faster than they are. Bajas are typically heavier and slower than most other similar size "go fast" boat. Now with that said, they have a deep V which means they cut through waves well. After the boat didn't sell on ebay twice, I called the owner (Kenny) and a few days later I went to look at the boat after negotiating price.
