I was really surprised by some of their acquisitions. Pahlsson is a fairly big name and adding another Cup winner to the roster (albeit a back-up goalie at the time) will help them hopefully reach the playoffs again and at least stick around a bit longer. The group of centers is really getting stronger, with Brassard coming back (i think?) and Vermet and Pahlsson there. I'm excited to see them in action, but I'm excited to see the season start every year.

Though it is a good time, AutoX is a slightly better time. I'll catch the next one, though.

Don't give up on it, it's a sturdy phone. Hell, it survives falls from roller coasters (such as mine did last month). Once you get it set up how you want it and get rid of all the junk they include with it, it should run just fine. I'm still using .76 cause the new .148 isn't all that great, though.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I called around and got the lowest price from Byers, but they couldn't do the paint for me. I called Hatfield and the guy matched Byers price and can get it painted for pretty cheap. Looks like I found a good deal, but I'll mention OhioVW when I head over there and see if I can get a better one

So, last night I had a bit of an accident when my gas lid ended up getting snapped off of my car. It was a joint effort between me and a clumsy friend. I found that it is easy to replace, just a couple screws, but i can't find online anywhere to get one. Before I call the dealer and have them quote me a million dollars for a part, where in this town could I possibly get a new one, already painted? I know there are some specialty German and foreign car shops around, I just don't know who or where.

Damn, their safety standards must be MUCH lower than in our country. But I guess it makes sense, it is Mexico. Those cars didn't even look up to Nationwide standards.

Hmm..I'll actually be up early this Saturday and not for AutoX. Should I come to this or watch the beginning of the 24 Hours of Le Mans? Hmm...

I don't know when the next NASA HPDE is, but I'm planning on doing the Driver Education event with the Mid Ohio Region Porsche Club at the beginning of August (the 1st, I believe). I did it last year with them and it was really laid back and I felt like I got plenty of track time for the price (3 20-30 min. sessions per day for two days). You should check it out, if you wanna hit the track before October.

Thanks, I was mainly frustrated that I wasn't hanging with the rest of the STX guys like I was at Points #1. I don't think I was as focused this time as I was at that one. I can't wait for the next one to get things straight again.

This game is the only reason I'm keeping my 360 around; I really don't play it that much lately. And when I do it's mostly racing games ha. That trailer really got me pumped, Pendulum is the perfect music to get you in the mood to race.

Just thought I should share: the AutoX this weekend is actually on Sunday. So, instead of stopping by on their way, people should be able to stick around for the whole thing Saturday.

I went to the one two years ago that got rained on hard. I feel like I got screwed because of it. I wish I could make it to this year's. My friends that usually go to this stuff are down in Charlotte for the Coke 600, instead.
