  1. Runs great except for needing tuned still. You're killing me with this SuperCoupe. I want it bad but just don't have the room at my house for it. If I can get with my brother and keep it in his barn I'll buy it.
  2. I agree with Scotty on the Ruger MKII or MKIII .22lr. I have several .22 pistols and my favorite two are these... The older model's can be bought at a reasonable price and I fell they are a little better built. The lower on the newer guns are made of a composite plastic. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=495&pictureid=3901 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=495&pictureid=4594 Reliability with the Ruger's are great. If I ever have a FTF it's the ammo not the guns fault. The only .22 I would recommend staying away from (except for all the Saturday night specials)is the Sig Sauer Mosquito. The gun felt great in my hand but it wouldn't shoot more than 3 rounds before it would jam up. I tried several different ammo's and even the CCI Mini Max's that Sig recommends and I still had the same issues. The feed ramp was even polished.
  3. just think.... The Congo crossing was only a small part of their 2 year 100,000Km adventure. Anyone sign up for the live webcast interview with these two on Sunday at 11am? Too bad they're only discussing the Congo and not the rest of the trip.
  4. Gotta love that Ryan. Nice looking turbo sedan car that gets great MPG's... My Thunderbird Turbo Coupe has been averaging 30mpg city/highway driving. On a trip I took recently I drove 400 miles and averaged 37MPG's
  5. I've seen that one myself.... This was probably 5 or 6 years ago in Old Hilliard http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=575&pictureid=4574 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=575&pictureid=4575
  6. I'll be in Vinton and Fairfield Co. on private land. We seen a pack of 12 deer today in Delaware while hunting Pheasant.
  7. Nevada came alive in that 2nd half. Didn't help Boise State's kicker shank'd a last second field goal to win it, the game goes into overtime and the guy shank'd another field goal for the win. Nevada ended up winning with a field goal. Talking about putting someone one suicide watch for a couple days..... I felt so bad for the guy when he did it the second time.
  8. Closest Air Museum I know of is in Dayton unless a new one popped up recently. I thought it might be making it's way to a V.F.W. post or and American Legion somewhere.
  9. It was very cool. Traffic going North slowed down to about 55 in the fast lane I'm sure because everyone was rubber-necking. It would have sucked to be behind that convoy of 6 OSP's and plane... I bet the tail or traffic was 2 miles long if not more. The F-14 Tomcat was officially retired on September 22, 2006.
  10. Anyone know where it was going? I was going North on 270 at Cemetery Rd at 3:15 today when I seen it. It was a cool thing to see. Looked like it was taking up all three lanes.
  11. thanks. I figured it out late last night. The Interior Control Module is on the front/top of the fuse box but that wasn't my problem. Someone replaced the 7.5a fuse for the ICM under the hood with a 30a fuse. What the person didn't know was that the power wire from the fuse box under the hood to the ICM was shorted to ground causing the problem.
  12. I said ALMOST... haha I would love to race trucks like that. I even have a 88 Nissan hardbody 4x4 that would be perfect for it but I have no extra time or money to invest into it.
  13. Nice pictures. That also looks almost as fun as sex..
  14. also the intermittent setting on the wipers aren't working and I need help figuring out where the problem is. I know on older Honda's there is a module on the back side of the fuse panel that controls all these items and you could just replace that and fix the problem. That module is not in the same place on the 94. Anyone know what I'm looking for and where it's at?
  15. I had the XD 9mm Tactical and thought it was a good gun. I couldn't justify having two 9mm's that are so comparable so I had to choose between the XD and a Glock and the Glock won. I sold the XD for $450 without even trying
  16. What if the Quad is an 80's model before they started issuing titles to quads?
  17. Does he do well with other dogs?
  18. It's listed as "CR Gun Crew" at the top of the "Parking Lot" Also you can't go wrong with either Shotty.... Both good guns.
  19. Battelle West Jefferson consists of the following according to their website * Battelle Biomedical Research Center * Gasification Laboratories * Hazardous Materials Research Center * High Energy Research Laboratory * Pipeline Research Facilities
  20. When the West Jeff Battellle opened in 1954 it was the first privately owned neuclear reactor in the country. It has since been decommissioned (so they say) and is now more of a biological weapons test facility. Opps I can't call it that.. lol but in reality that's one of the many things they do there. This is an interesting read..... Granted it happened 8 years ago still it happened and worse things could happen just as easy as this did. http://www.battelle.org/SPOTLIGHT/news_archives/archive_02/10-08-02Investigation.aspx BATTELLE COMPLETES INVESTIGATION OF AUGUST 11 WEST JEFFERSON ACCIDENT Battelle announced today that it has completed its investigation of the August 11 accident at the High Energy Research Laboratory Area near West Jefferson, Ohio. The accident seriously injured two Battelle staff members, who have been released from their respective hospitals and are recovering. The two Battelle staff members, Thomas Burky and James Gombarcik, were working on an internal research and development project in the defense area when an explosion occurred in the High Energy Research Laboratory-a facility specifically designed for explosives testing. The investigation has determined that the cause of the accident was an unintentional ignition of energetic materials, most likely as a result of an electrostatic discharge. The investigation also found the manager and staff members associated with the project exhibited the intent to work safely and efficiently, and recognized (as reflected in the Safety Plan) that electrostatic discharge was the primary hazard. At the same time, the probe indicated that some changes in standard operating and change management procedures could reduce the possibility of similar occurrences. The investigation also determined that there was no environmental impact from the explosion to the surrounding community. "We are disappointed that this accident occurred because Battelle has prided itself on a strong environment, safety and health record," said Frank Hood, Battelle Vice President for Environment, Safety and Health. "We are taking immediate action to improve safety at the High Energy Research Laboratory, including an action plan to implement process and safety improvements for research work and to closely track completion. Most important, we are very pleased that Tom Burky and Jim Gombarcik are recovering well from this most unfortunate accident." Members of the investigative team included: Hood, Dr. Kelly Beierschmitt, Director, Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality at Oak Ridge National Laboratory; Dr. Michael Fisher, Senior Research Scientist at Battelle; Dr. Michael Duffy, Research Leader, Environment, Safety and Health and Safeguards Analysis at Battelle; and Don Cagle, Manager, Environment Safety and Health Operations at Battelle. Battelle serves industry and government in the areas of technology development, laboratory management, and technology commercialization. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Battelle has annual revenues of $1 billion, has operations at more than 100 locations and clients in 30 countries. It counts as its successes the development of the office copier machine (Xerox), pioneering work on the compact disc, medical technology breakthroughs, and fiber optic advancements for telecommunications.
  21. In a nutshell Battelle wanted/did build underground storage for high explosive materials about 1/3 mile away from the backside of the backdrops in the same field as the range. Battelle wants, Battelle gets............ by any means necessary. If the people living in and around West Jeff knew what was going on at Battelle they would all shit themselves. I wish I had researched it more before moving out here.
