  1. I see that this gun will shoot .410, 45LC, AND .45ACP.... Does the Taurus shoot .45ACP too or did S&W do something different to the their model?
  2. Sorry, I thought we've been talking about Cobra's........
  3. Agreed... This is from Bushmaster's website.... The Bushmaster C15 Carbines are a unique hybridization of traditional AR-15 type features with space-age Carbon 15 composite molded Receivers for light weight and rugged durability. Anytime something is described as "Space-age" it makes me laugh. My buddy said that it shots good but this is the first AR he's ever shot. He also said that Vance's has been selling a ton of them. good luck with your search.
  4. ok... upon further review of the carbon 15, I retract my previous advice on purchasing this rifle. I had no idea it was made of a carbon composite material. Reviews aren't the greatest on this rifle either.
  5. Yep, seriously... He loves it. Just uses it for target shooting. I can't say that I've researched them just going by what he's told me. What's the issue with them?
  6. Also, you'll be glad you spent the extra $100 getting the AR over the AK. You're not getting near the quality of gun in an AK. I'm sure Scotty will agree with me on that. He's the one that convinced me the AR is a much better gun.
  7. Go to Vance's and put a deposit down on the Bushmaster AR they have on sale for $599. They will call you when it comes in. A good friend bought one and for $600 it's well worth it. You're not going to find a new AR15 cheaper in Ohio.
  8. forced induction started in 2003.
  9. If you decide on a Glock 22, you can usually get a great deal on a Police trade-in at Vance's. They usually have Sig's and Smith and Wesson 9mm and .40S&W's trade-ins too. I love my Glock 22 and 1911's. I would recommend either of the two. If you truely just want something to plink with once a year why not get a Ruger Mark III Target .22lr or any .22lr pistol? Great gun, very accurate, extremely cheap to shoot. Just a thought....
  10. Screw AT&T. My contract with them is up in March and I'm done with them for good. I've called and complained about shitty service and dropped calls and they just don't seem to care. The wife and I never use data and our bill is always $120 a month. All we do is call and text so my plan is to go with Straight Talk. I can lower my bill to $75 a month and be on the verizon network. Yea the phones aren't the nicest but they aren't junk either. They will do the wife and I just fine.
  11. I have no plans to watch the superbowl. I'll watch it when either the Bengals or the Browns make it there.....
  12. I've had several of the Hi Point 995's and have never been disappointed with any them. They are a fun plinker gun and that's about all they're good for. I assume that the Keltec would be the same but a little better quality. I'm planning on buying a 40S&W Sub-2000 that uses Glock 22 mags as soon as Uncle Sam deposits my tax return.
  13. I had a kick ass Alienware laptop that my wife "Water Cooled" one afternoon. It did not work out well for the laptop...... I now use a Toshiba laptop.....
  14. I have a Toshiba Satellite A655-S6086 part#PSAW0U-02N033B
  15. that what I was thinking too Ben. Maybe the actual connector could be universal which I still don't think it is, but usually always the way the drive slides into the bay is different. Like I said, if you can prove to me I can slide this thing into my Toshiba laptop and it'll work I'll buy it.
  16. If it will work in my Toshiba Satellite A6505, I'll buy it.
  17. How do you know it will work in any laptop?
  18. Can you mount and balance them them too?
  19. are they factory mags or shitty pro mag magazines or some other off brand? Also, I thought that the Federal Firearms Laws trumped any and all state or city laws concerning firearms. So that would make the 32rnd mag legal to own and use wouldn't it?
  20. I'm not a huge fan of green but I love that green Chevy is putting on the new Camaro. That would be the only choice I like better than the orange that's on there now. It's also hard to go wrong with black and pearl white too so I think what ever you decide to paint it it's going to look good. I seen your Cobra at Rob's shop over the summer and if you take as much care and pride in the bike as you do the Cobra I'm sure it's going to look show quality and go really fast.
  21. I've been kicking around getting one for a while now but I'm just not throughly convinced I'm going to fully like it. When I smoke a cig I like that hard hit of the smoke in the back of my throat and the exhale feeling too. Also lately smoking has been more of a habbit/bordem thing. I'm not sure I'm going to get what I'm after from the water vapor. Is the vapor heated like cig smoke? So far I've only heard people praise the E-Cig, has anyone ever had a bad experience besides the annoyance of people asking "WTF you got there man?" Side note.... Thanks Ryan for PM'ing me all your info you collected on the E-Cigs. It's been a big help in my quest to quit smoking. And a sorta off topic question for the smokers and ex-smokers...... Has anyone tried Chantix? My doctor prescribed me some but after reading all the info sheets that come with the drug and talking to a couple family members that took it it scared me right out of taking it.
  22. Good luck with everything and stay strong for her
  23. Did you find one yet? If not LMK, I have an HP nc6000 with a 1.6Ghz Pentium M with a gig of memory, built in wifi, DVD player/cd burner, card reader, gigabit ethernet connection, 30Gb HDD, carry case, 2 desktop docking stations that has removable floppy and extra 80gb HDD and a fresh install of XP Pro. I'd like $200 for all of it.
  24. I might have some older Compaq laptops in my basement, whats your minimum CPU requirement? I'm thinking what I have is going to be like 1.5Ghz P4's or slower
  25. once you get the bulk of it off use a hand steamer to get it out of the hard to reach spots. I've used this method on several Nagants and AK47 magazines.
