  1. As long as they're in good shape I'll take at least 20 of them...
  2. How many mags do you have? I'll take some or all depending on how many you have. I'm tempted to pick up one of the kits too....
  3. You have met your first then. The worst of the few I had was a PT92 that was only good for pistol whipping someone. I had the barrel, slide, trigger parts all replaced and it still had issues. The feed ramp was the worst ever... It was so pitted up after about 50 rounds that it would FTF 13 out of 15 rounds and it happened to BOTH factory barrels. I ended up selling it to a gunsmith friend that used it for parts.
  4. I like the gun, but don't get why it has no sights on it....
  5. Mike, I think the gun you linked to is very similar or even an exact copy of the Rock Island GI model. What do you think? Rock Island GI http://www.centerfiresystems.com/AC-RI1911.aspx ATI Military FX 45 http://dealer.americantactical.us/products?product=1405
  6. I'm not a Taurus fan. I've owned a few and had issues with all of them. I love my Colt Defender. It shoots straight and I've never had any issue with it. The only caveat to the small, light weight Colt is it kills my hand when I shoot more than 50 rounds at a time with it but that probably wouldn't be a problem for you. The price on the Colts are well above your price range. I also have a Para GI Expert that is a work horse. The Para is fun to shoot and recoil isn't bad at all and it's just as accurate as the Colt..... The Para sees the most range time of all my .45's. Para also has a nice double stack 1911 that holds 14 rounds that would be worth looking at. The Para GI Expert runs $580 at Vance's and usually about $400-$450 used, but for $499 it's hard to beat the Springfield 1911A1 GI Lightweight at Vance's.
  7. Beat me to it..... will you sell just oak and maple for $100 a cord?
  8. I'm just going by personal experience. I would think your 10mm would've been the hardest recoil of the 3. Also remember I'm an old fart with weak hands due to arthritis.
  9. I'm glad they're going to work for ya. The FB will look great with those wheels on it. Yours will look like this one in no time.... Only a hell of a lot faster!!! http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a102/Stanz21/DSC00036.jpg Thanks again for helping me change that bypass hose on my Dakota this afternoon. I'm considering changing it to a metal hose just to be sure it's not going to pop on me again.
  10. I agree with Austin on this one. 40S&W is great in a full sized gun, but with a sub compact it would kick like a mule.
  11. Looks like I make third person to see the original showing back in 1985. I remember seeing it at a movie theater at Rainbow Dr and Tiki Lane in Lancaster. I don't even think that theater is there any more. I'll definitely be taking the wife to see it again. One of the few good clean fun to watch movies that is funny to all ages.
  12. He was probably referring to the exhaust manifolds. 02 GT's didn't come with headers from the factory. Just plane jane exhaust manifolds....
  13. The wheels are made by Western in the late 80's or early 90's. The have an offset of 10 and I'm guessing they are 7in wide but not sure. The wheels are dirty and the center caps aren't perfect. If you want them I'll sell them to you for $125. That's $25 less than I paid Rob Hand a few months ago. btw... I was able to use the stock lugnuts from my Turbo Coupe.
  14. I agree that aftermarket parts for these guns are usually junk especially the hi capacity magazines. The only aftermarket part I would use on a SKS is the a receiver cover/scope mount like this one and the part still might need 'worked on' to make it fit right on your rifle. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/MNTSKS03.aspx Also remember the 922r regulations about making changes to the sks. Tapco sells 922r compliant parts..... http://www.tapco.com/products/sks/index.php?_a=viewCat&catId=36 Also check out this site about the 922r laws http://thegunwiki.com/Gunwiki/LegalFederal922rParts I've owned dozens of sks rifles over the years and have always enjoyed shooting them even more than my AK47's. The weight and length of the SKS fits me much better than the AK47. Usually the triggers on the sks feels like your rubbing two pieces of sand paper together when you're firing it, but that can be fixed. I got lucky on a Romanian made sks that has a buttery smooth trigger from the factory. Keep it stock, buy some stripper clips and you'll have fun with it. Side note... I bought my first sks for $88 about 17 years ago and I've watched them consistently rise in price ever since and the last couple I bought was last year for $225 for a plane Jane Chinese Norinco and $400 for a Norinco SKS-M (uses ak mags). If I remember right, they aren't being imported anymore so whatever is here in the USA is it. Someone in Canada got a shipment of I believe Romanian sks' last year and they sold out very quickly. Guys in the US was dying to get there hands on them..
  15. The tires are.... 2- 225/0/15's that still has a good amount tread left and the others 2 are 235/0/15's that are dry rotted. not sure on offset but I'm guessing that they have a factory foxbody offset. I'll look at the wheels this afternoon and see if they say somewhere. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=547&pictureid=4330
  16. If you need 15's that fit a 4 lug Mustang, I have a set of 4 black mesh wheels I was going to use on my Turbo Coupe but changed my mind. You can have them for what I paid. $150 btw.... I could bring them to you if you need me to
  17. Vance's has Wolf 55gr .223 for $249 a thousand
  18. Barnes Guns in Lancaster has a lot of surplus 7.62x54 but I can't remember the price.
  19. I went... Didn't see any deals on guns. I did pick up an older KBAR knife for $10. I had to laugh when we walked to the back of the far right side of the place and ran into the live animal section. lol Dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits...
  20. Here's a what looks like a first generation Glock 22 out in the Dayton/Springfield area for $375 http://www.gunlistings.org/view-listing.php?id=29011
  21. Would you sell the Box with 10's without the amp? If so I'm interested.
