  1. I have a 4 or 5 year old verizon flip phone that is in perfect condition you can have for free. I think it's an LG and it has a case and chargers. If you're interested I'll get it out and give you the model number...
  2. For some reason I've always had the best luck with the key in a box method. The active bypass modules always gave me trouble. If you don't feel safe leaving a starter key in your car just cut off the key part after you program it. $250 sounds like a good price as long as it's a reputable place...
  3. I'll go do either guys. I have a couple boxes of skeet in the garage I can bring out. Zach, you mentioned how packed the public land is on weekends..... Have you ever been out the morning after ODNR has one of their scheduled releases? It's total chaos and I'll never go back out the morning after a release. I've seen guys get into fist fights over getting crowded by other hunters and the worst part is they have their kids right beside them while making an ass out of themselves.
  4. The main reason I bought steel was that's all I could find today in #4 20ga. without going to a Fiocchi Nickel or copper plated that cost 4x as much. I know that steel shot is mandatory for duck but not for Pheasant.
  5. Zach, What's your gauge/load of choice? I'm using 2.5in 20ga #6 and #7 shot and just picked up some Winchester 3in steel #4 today to give a try. I've read that a lot of people like the steel #4's that's why I bought them. I always thought #4 was more for duck. Guess I'll find out this Friday morning. The last few years I've used a Beretta 12ga autoloader. This year I bought a Charles Daly 20ga autoloader off a guy here on CR and I'm damn glad I did. The weight reduction alone was worth the price I paid for the 20ga
  6. I have to agree. Squirrel hunting at my parents house with my old Winchester .22 is a lot of fun.
  7. I used to pen raise pheasants the last couple years and decided to take this year off from it but while hunting them we always took them to the pheasants forever fields at deer creek and turned them loose ... occasionally some of them got loose.. then at the end of the year we on average turned 20-25 birds loose there to try and up the population. That's great of you to do that. i have always tagged out at deer creek just going with a good dog. That's good to hear. This was my first trip to Deer Creek and wasn't sure how it was going to go. We hunted a couple fields close to the shooting range. The first one was some seriously thick shit that I don't see myself going back into and the second was more or less a grassy field and that's where the 9 month old pup flushed all three. Actually pretty impressive for her first time out hunting. If you are free sometime in the next few weeks i could drive around with you and show you some good places to hunt. Sounds good. I'll PM you my number. I need to get my beagles out and let them run some rabbits before i hunt over the dogs.. I've always wanted to rabbit hunt, just never had a dog to take out for rabbit.
  8. Or any other small birds? Have any luck yet? I went out last Friday around Deer Creek. Flushed 3 and got 1. One was a hen. Going to try to go every Friday morning until the end of the season..
  9. The Pacifica is pretty labor intensive so don't expect to get out the door of a shop for the base price + tax. On top of the remote starter you're going to need several resistors a slew of relays and a sentry bypass and a new key depending on which bypass you get. If you want your parking lights to flash it takes a resistor and a relay so that'll be extra. If you want your power door locks tied into the system that takes 4 relays and a couple resistors. You get where I'm going with this..... Here's a link to the cars wiring if you want to try it yourself. http://64.85.6.121/diagrams/printpage.asp?ModelID=17201&MakeID=14 or http://www.bulldogsecurity.com
  10. You could buy a decent little boat for cheaper than it would cost to fix this boat up. I know, I tried to refurb a boat before and it nickle and dime'd me to death.... I was lucky enough to sell it for $500 and had well over $2000 in it.
  11. Are Netbooks worth a shit? I've been tempted to get the wife one for surfing the web and printing off pictures from her digital camera..... Sorry for the threadjacking...
  12. how in the hell did something like this even make it on the ballot? I'm assuming the folks that are going to open the casinos had to pay out the ass in bribes to get it that far...
  13. Thanks for the info Ken. Makes sense now.......
  14. Chris, can you explain why this is bad? What other ways could this been achieved? I didn't follow it enough to fully understand which I'm sure most of Ohio is in the same boat as myself.
  15. It sounds like she will be an employee of the staffing firm. If that's the case, she won't get any of the BMW perks and will be one of the first to get layed off when cut backs hit. Not trying to be negative as I wish her the best of luck. Just relaying what I was told by my buddy that works there.... The good news is that being on the call center she has a good chance of getting hired into BMW if they like her....
  16. One of my good friends has worked there on and off for the last 7 years. He said you can a car allowance or something like that. I'll ask him and post back later...
  17. I'm curious as to why it passed this time? What changed people to vote yes this time?
  18. But you've never been to a casino in Ohio which has a smoking ban..... I bet $20 the state doesn't allow smoking anywhere inside. I was amazed that in Vegas casinos the smoking wasn't a problem. You can't smoke anywhere close to food sales and on the casino floor the smoke eaters must have been heavy duty because it didn't bother me or the wife at all. I'm not a big gambler, but I'm happy that we're finally going to get casinos in Ohio. I've been to Vegas, and about all the casinos in Indiana and always had a great time. It's hard to beat Vegas... Vegas is and will be my favorite vacation spot from now on. Sit at the bar and play video poker and drink like a fish for free the entire time... I loved it.
  19. If you sell the AK by itself I would be interested in the mags and ammo.
  20. Would you be interested in a Chinese SKS in great condition with extras or a Beretta AL2 12 gauge autoloader?
