well last night my srod 4spd gave out in the 82 mutt. graemlins/nonono.gif i refuse to put any money into that crap tranny, so i need a t-5 and a bell housing for a v/8. willing to do work trades cash and trades for parts. any help would be great even a lead on a good one.

i am looking for a good hood a set of iroc wheels a good front bumper cover and lower panel. one that does not have major paint cracking. also looking for a set of gears and a headliner board. car is a hard top with no sun roof

what is the gear ratio on that rear end

unfortnatly not i just swaped the drums for 5 lug drums but if you want them you can have them

farmboy you are very right about the frames on the chevys. what is the problem with this swap i mean i have a 429 in my truck it was never offered with a big block (the 4x4's were not offered with a big block 2x4 was) no frame ripping here and my 429 was rated at 370hp and 470 or so tq so i have near the same #'s as the 12valve cummins. let me ask you what is the diffrence in this swap to some one with a b18c1 swap in a civic or a huge turbo on a supra or a big inch small block in a mustang all of these cars have thin sheet metal frames. even if it was a weany s-10 that he wanted a cummins in at least they have a full frame that you can use a tape measure to see how thick it is. by the way call up banks and tell them that there land speed 5.9 cummins dodge dakota needs to have a bigger frame so the tq dosent rip it apart.

what part of 3/4 ton did you not get the frame is up to the task what does e 2500 series dodge mean ask around that is a 3/4 ton and the 3500 is a one ton. chevy is c-20 3/4 ton and c-30 is one ton so did it sink in on your end 2500=3/4 ton cummins 2500 cummins c-20 what is the diffrence graemlins/wtf.gif

Ok you have a F350 which is a HD truck. He has a 1500 which is a light duty truck, not made to haul 15000LBS. what is your point? he asked about the swap. i gave him my opinion and that i was thinking about the same swap in my truck. i mean if it is good in my heavy truck why wouldnt it be better in a lighter truck. the diesel would last forever in a light truck application and would get better fuel milage.

sell out i would, i mean it would be best for you. that means there is one less four eye for my 82 to compete with. just kidding keep the eye glasses and check out unlimited products i think they will have one. also uwrench it had a couple of older foxes but i am not sure about the year.

i have a new rear gt bumper cover for a fox body never painted 100.00 1 used rear lx hatch wing good shape 35.00 i have a pair of front 4 lug rotors and 4 lug rear drums off my 82 they are bendex parts plenty of good life left 20.00 for all four

ah it is more than expanding, there is a few unfufilled promises and a lack of building maintnance. paint walls RUNNING WATER. i have to go to the shop next door to use the restroom wash my hands etc. it is just getting old. i cant keep running a shop and not have running water its like a back yard shop. i need some more room but this shop would do just fine if the building maintenence was better. it is just wearing on my nerves
