I have a 90 240 swapped with a rb25 that is stock right now. I am going to do a turbo upgrade, standalone, etc and was throwing around the idea of e85. Any shops around here tune on e85 and setup any cars like this? it was just an idea I was throwing around and trying to find out if anyone else has tried something like this.
That first jump kicked the rear of the bike up, had to be scary for a moment there. That jump was crazy, I havent seen it till now. Our tivo kicked off before he made the jump, I couldnt believe it.
Here a pic, I had a friend use a turbo on a civic (b18 non-vtec) .50ar t3/4 from the same factory and put down 225 wheel at 6psi. There are too many places out there making turbos but I dont see any problems with this.
if you are wanting questions answered about the turbo thats fine, if you are bashing, keep the comments to yourself its ignorante

I have a t70, .70ar cold and .84 hot I believe and its a 2 1/2" outlet vband. Its brand new and I was going to use on my 240 build but decided to go with a turbo with a little smaller hot side. Ill post up pics later or leave your email address and Ill forward some pics if you need them.
make an offer
I bought about $1700 worth of shifters and pulleys thinking that I wanted to take the time to list up all the stuff on craigslist and ebay to sell. Needless to say I dont have the time and want to get rid of it all at one time. Im not going to split it all up but I have almost $1950 with shipping.
$1100 would take it all and there would be around $2300 worth of product if you have the time to list it up on sites and sell it. There are T45 t5 honda civic g35 350z camaro t56 evo wrz ect for short shifters and I have all sorts of billet pullys as well. If you are serioues, pm me and Ill call you or email some details on the products. I AM NOT GOING TO SPLIT UP. It all goes to one home. Should be able to make around $700-1000 off these parts taking the time to sell, I dont have the time or I would do it myself. Im just chalking this one up as a loss
Ill trade you my yugo and a white owl blunt if interested pm me. The yugo has a tree fiddy in it and a foot print gas pedal. If you take it today Ill throw in a box of condoms with it as well due to all the pussy you are going to pull.
that is by far the worse drink I have ever had. The gatorade doesnt do anything to the flavor, I would have rather just drank straight everclear...it was that bad(I didnt have very high expectations for the drink from the start)
ok just thought it was weird running 2 1/2" to that throttle body that is 3 1/2". I have the reducers for the intercooler taking it from 3 to 2 1/2" which is the piping that I have already. Ill just run the 2 1/2" piping that came with the car then
Im shooting for around 380-400 wheel. People are running about the same setup 14psi on the t70 for that hp. Im going to do the aem ems so I can get a good tune and have a few other mods so I think its realistic power goals.
So just run 3" on the cold side? My turbo I think hotside outlet vband is only 2 1/2" though. So whoever mentioned running larger on the hot, I dont think thats going to be possible. I have looked for something that would take me from 2 1/2 to 3" for the downpipe but cant find anything.
I am doing a turbo upgrade on my rb25 240 and putting a t70 turbo with a front mount. Compressor outlet is 2 1/2", intercooler is 3", and throttle body is 3 1/2".
I have a 2 1/2" univeral intercooler pipe set the dude gave me when I got the car and reducers for the intercooler to 2 1/2". Should I just get a 3 1/2" to 2 1/2" reducer for the throttle body and just run it all that way? Or is there any reason that I should run it all 3" and get all necessary couplers for that diameter.
Any help would be great
the mechanic is a pretty good fabricator, just wanted to check to see if this was common. Its an ebay twin setup and you either have to cut and re-angle the pass. side turbo mount or relocate the alt. Ill try and get some photos up
The guy does a lot of diesel work and not normally a mustang mechanic, just helping a friend out.
lol yea I just was reading that thread and figured what the hell Ill email him. I guess Ill see what people post in here, hopefully someone has resolved this issue and knows what we could do
