I just started this weekend to make the 4v kits. Im going run that same 70mm and hopefully over the winter build the motor and shoot for some maybe around 60% more power than what the car previously had with the s/c setup.....
No I would like to buy one. I gotta sell the 02 2v gt we just did the mock up on and as soon as its gone I am going to get another 5.0. I have a motor here that should handle some power and want to make some number like Brian... :-)
when are you planning to get that 5.0 back out to Brian? Call me for sure and let me know if you are planning anytime soon. People are blowing me up about those 5.0 kits and not having set in stone numbers. Ill pay a % of the dyno time to get that thing back out to Brian soon and get some number in the very near future :-)
BTW, Brian I am finishing up with the kmember tomorrow on my 4v car and going to see what changes we will have to make to the 2v turbo kit to make it fit the 4v cars. So hopefully within the next 3 or so weeks Ill be out to see you again and see what we can make on a 70mm and 10#'s.
Brian, I looked back through all of my CC records and I am guessing that it was around the first week of April. I could be completely wrong but thats what I would guess and Ill look more and see if I can find out a more exact date to help out find that. Thanks!
I am trying to find set in stone numbers and a dyno chart we can use with our turbo kit we are producing for the 5.0 mustangs. I need the graph for set in stone proof as it seems like I have to prove myself to everyone on just about ever aspect of the kit or claim we make.
If anyone has something I can use, it would be helpful
Thanks
I used the march alternator bracket kit to get rid of that whole tensioner system and then just ditched the ac. Measure for a new belt and its that easy. I have a bracket kit Im not using if you need one, I was going to return it to Jegs. I paid like $60, I would take $50 not to have to drive back down there. Ill post up a photo of my car later for you so you can see or search for my thread in Corral for the 5.0 turbo car I sold on here a few months ago
screw it, I would just stick with 40s on 71, then no drag radials are needed....only kidding everyone knows street racing is against the law and can lead to impounds, media, court cost, lawyer fees, street credit, etc
Cool, just let me know when you were hoping to get this done. Do you need them mounted or removed? The set I have are not mounted or anything so you can just pick them up if you wanted or like I said, we can get mike im sure to hook it up to mount
Yea I do man, sorry about not getting them up. I had an issue with the vband on the production stuff on this car, they were thicker than the vbands we used on mockup so I have been waiting for the clamps to come before I go back out to hilliard to get the car the rest of the way back together. Clamps should be here tomorrow and if they show up Ill get photos when I get out there to drop of the clamps
