  1. Wow. Props to CR Justice!!!
  2. Holy shit. Know when to put the phone away, PP
  3. I'm in Cleveland now. Been visiting family/friends in Shaker and Euclid. Hung out in Ohio City/Tremont and Coventry... Let's keep it in C'Bus :gabe:
  4. If you and the wife have iPhones, the iPad is a low-tech way to simply add content to multiple devices. Download Yo Gabba Gabba vids to the iPad for the kids, they can access them on your phone while travelling. After working the all-new "smart" TV's in our house, I think Apples interface on the Apple TV we have is the easiest to understand and use. +1 for Apple tech.
  5. The pies he's looking for aren't filled with lemon, pumpkin, or chocolate...:no::no:
  6. Just watched this...that is a bonkers hit. Testament to cage design...that thing took an upper loop hit so hard from another car it lifted his car up entirely. Yet, the driver made it out alive. Amazing. Decades ago, driver would've been decapitated.
  7. My high-mileage Passat has been lowered most of it's life and i've eaten through sets of tires pretty consistently. Cody(Cory?) At Derek's TireDiscounter location on E. Broad let me hang out with him on the alignment rack and watch him align my Passat. That was thousands of miles ago and the car hasn't rolled this well in forever. Derek fo'sho.
  8. Ahhh...good to know. I would totally get a Boobaru wagon...even an automatic...and drive that out there. Sell it to some hipster and make your money back once you get settled in and find something more fun to drive.
  9. http://www.autoblog.com/2013/11/25/hyundai-entourage-recall/ Sounds like the Hyundai Windstar to me :gabe:
  10. Why not wait until you're settled in your spot out West to pick up something? I'd hate for you to blow your load on a "fun" car here in OH when there are a bajillion great, rust-free cars in Cali...
  11. +10. I've been smitten with my E36 318. It's the tiny-engined Bimmer... but lowered and with strong tires this thing is totally tossable and I'm getting an easy 30+mpg. It's definitely slow getting up an on-ramp, but above 60mph it squirts in-and-out of highway traffic. I paid $5k for mine, but: 1) I knew the PO 2) It's been modded the way I'd want to do it for no more money out of my pocket 3) It's a convertible 4) No rust, interior is crack-free for plastics/leather. Everything works. 5) It's now got 114k miles and feels more solid (even as a 'vert) than my Passat, Corvette (C4, not saying much there). Not sure what you'll find AWD-wise for $5k, and I cannot buy another FWD car until my Passat dies. The BMW is perfect for what I need.
  12. Last week, I rented a Hyundai Elantra. Honestly, I expected a really nice car but was quite disappointed with the ride and the acceleration. Radio and cruise control worked...okay, I guess. :fa: Anyway...was pulling into Port Columbus to return this shitbox, and I was following another Elantra. Staring at the license plate at night, I noticed that something looked a little off. "Man, that's a sloppy owner", I thought. Then, I looked at the trunk lid of my rental when I was getting my stuff out da trunk... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=693&pictureid=7393 Wait...what? That can't be right. Let me turn on the lights so you can see it better. Look at the right-side license plate light. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=693&pictureid=7394 I realize this is the tiniest of niggles, but what is seen cannot be unseen... and I can't stop looking at that HERP DERP license light. Why is it so far off??? I didn't try to pry off the black cover, because I don't care. Anyway...just seems super sloppy. Piece of shit appliance-car anyway so whatevs. The potatoes that buy this thing will never care.
  13. Niiiice... Welcome as well!
  14. Keep it up, mang! Love the updates. Mike @ M&M is a good guy. Glad he's helping you out!
  15. Can you explain the process??? They need +rep to be approved?

  17. We've had great turnouts the last few weekends, though it's at least been in the 50s-60s. I'll be out and I know a UA buddy will be there with a friend. "THE GANG'S ALL HERE..." /SpongeBob
