  1. Well... It's literally trash. The only reason it's so popular is b/c some dudes landed there eons ago, killed the natives, and weren't smart enough to find a place with fertile land, better hunting, etc. They just kept growing in population and dumping shit pots out their windows. Bingo. I won't lie, it was cool to visit when younger, but hell no to living there. If I'd won that $1B lotto I'd never pay for a place there. Silly. Groce. Saying, "in my opinion making pizza dough with ice cold water improves the taste," is one thing. Saying, "dough has to be made with NY water or it's complete trash," is just asinine. lol
  2. I thought you didn't like talk radio.
  3. Never seen the Cessna Lemons car. lol Also not CL, but let's go. http://www.ebay.com/itm/253948729191?fbclid=IwAR09jvQa4zQ4o2gDbDvTULsJn0VmOqlN8rBS79DN8Z9Ov7vmMpDOXCM1_V4

Unfortunately. "Dozens" of hacked up pieces of shit are now "saved". "Dozens" meaning "three".
  5. ebay, but: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-GMC-Sierra-2500-PLANECAR-/153253741827
  6. The ironing. Outdated technology can have new systems. Precisely my point. Thank you. What state is Italy in? Prob somewhere in the PNW.
  7. 1) Obey signs. Folks won't get as many tickets if they obey posted signs. Isn't that your mantra? 2) Fair enough. I believe the same could be said to any "outsider" relocating to anywhere. Are you suggesting that midwesterners wouldn't find some things in NYC "really strange"? I would agree on the pizza, but I would also say that NYC has its own distinct pizza that surrounding regions differ from/don't do as well so why look for "midwestern pizza"? Do you call NYC pizza, "east coast pizza"? I'd say NYC and CHI def have pizza they're known for. Other than those 2 specific cities I cannot think of anywhere "known" for their pizza. I love the water argument. I'm not saying you're wrong or I'm right, but that it's funny. If 2 pizzas were made the exact same with the only difference being the source of the water (providing both were good, clean, sources) I bet you couldn't tell a difference. Same water temp, dough ingredients, sauce, cheese, toppings, etc. I just don't think it would be noticeable. Could be wrong but I don't think I am. Pabst.
  8. CB joke. Kerry gets it. EDIT: tl;dr is Kerry often goes off on how CBus sucks, NYC is way better, the food here is nasty, etc. etc. We all go back and forth. He doesn't believe Chicago style is "midwest" and is upset that Ohio doesn't have a signature pizza style. We also don't have the "right water" to make good pizza.
  9. Also, the best pizza is here in the midwest. Now what are all them employees gonna eat for lunch? NY street hotdogs? Groce.
  10. Don't flatter yourself. I just wanted to say, "NYC blows," a few times and see how far you'd take it. Turns out others feel the same way as I do. Besides, I look damn fine in this dress.

Clay, don't go into the NCAAF thread...
  12. Take the blinders off. Fastest growing city. Named #1 by Forbes for start-ups and business growth (IIRC). Major hub for transportation/shipping. The best perk of Cbus? It's not NYC. Amazon sells and ships almost anything. How is NYC's or VA's LOCAL economy better than any other city as far as benefiting them?
  13. Yup. He's been full into that as well as the YouTube channel, "Okie Dokie Odie," for awhile now. He just walks around telling folks how things work. lol
  14. Huck, our 4 y.o. after watching me set up a new table lamp: "Hmmm...I wonder how that lamp works." Me: "Well, buddy, I just put the bulb in and this little knob works just like the light switch on the wall except you twist it." He turns the lamp on and off a few times. Huck: "Hmmm...I wonder how it WORKS though." I thought I'd blow his mind so I explained the entire inner workings of a lamp/light fixture, showed him the cord and explained how there were 2 wires inside that went to the prongs and that when we plug it in to the power strip it creates a circuit and that the switch opens and closes the circuit. Huck: "OH! ...but I wonder how the electricity gets here." I used a reference from one of his favorite movies, "Big Robok" (Iron Giant), where the robot was getting shocked while eating the power plant. I explained how the power plant works, substations, the power lines taking the electricity to houses and businesses, etc. I mean, the works. I used another few references from the time he got to come visit me on a site when I was a commercial electrician. Huck, seemingly impressed: "OH WOW! ....but I wonder if there are electrons in it."
  15. Saw all of that. Just came to post updates. Still, it was drama. McMurphy shouldn't be allowed to write any longer.
  16. Yes. It's overpriced because it's overrated. That's how that works.
  17. Nah. It'd be a lot cooler if it did. :gabe: Can't wait to see you hit 11's next year.
  18. Why? At this rate he'll be the POTUS come 2020.
  19. Zach Smith claims Tom Herman was trying to bring down Urban. This is starting to become some pro wrestling drama bs. lol
