  1. Correctly incorrect. People who have made a success living in the financial industry: "This is a bad idea." Kerry, an attorney who works for a bank I guess: "You're all wrong. A 12 year loan on a vehicle makes sense. I'm right once again" CR collective: "You're an idiot." Kerry: "Suburbans are Yugos."
  2. It's a 10/22. What should you do with it? Shoot it. Maybe a scope I guess. I like them straight out of the box or with a cheap scope. Have taken many a squirrel/rabbit with them.
  3. This. N...not this. Clay: "Porsche 12 year loan is dumb. Don't do it. This car is not an investment." JP: "America is way too chill with debt and doesn't even consider the long term ramifications. This car is not worth it." Kerry: "LET ME EDUCATE ALL OF YOU ON OTHER TYPES OF DEBT NOT RELATED TO THIS POST WHATSOEVER THEN TALK TRASH WHEN YOU DON'T READ MY NOVELLA!!!" Mic. Drop. Didn't he already say he learned from his past experiences in another thread? As did literally every other person who uses common sense on the board. :lolguy: http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/hhn.gif
  4. Just my IG. I'll pm you.
  5. Yeah, a radio is in the works. Dad talked about getting an antenna but I told him the factory radio was AM only so nah. lol Glad to hear the kids are enjoying it. I was gonna text you yesterday and ask if the new Cleetus was welcomed into the fold yet or not. And a/c has to be a nice change.
  6. It was a toy and I love that Clay did everything in his power to do what he wanted without spending a single red cent. Haha. Of course he did spend money, but not much. A true "budget build".
  7. Thanks. I liked it lowered but I really like the way it sits now. Most importantly the ride quality is drastically better.
  8. Wow. Looks great man. Knowing you those wheels weren't a budget buster and DEF worth the investment. Cleetus doesn't HAVE to be a total POS.
  9. P.S. - how are the kids liking the "new" Cleetus? Hope they don't hate you/me too much!
  10. Means a lot to me buddy. Fair enough, but every time I started it I did. Also, stalling in a busy intersection isn't fun. Hahaha Thanks man! The new mirrors were cheap, a la "Cleetus style", but didn't work for shit so each has a little stick on domed pivot mirror thing from O'O'O'O'Reilly's. We'll see where it goes from here. I'm LOVING this truck man! Thanks again!
  11. Thanks and I'm Trying to. He did wrong right. :lolguy: Kidding aside, yeah, just basically taking it back to stock-ish. Not trying to make it show quality. Just want to enjoy it.
  12. Well, as I said in Clay's original build thread I bought Cleetus IV from him back at the first of the year. Little by little I've been making upgrades/changes. To start the carb was FUBAR and HAVING to spray starter fluid EVERY time just to get her to turn over then having to hold the gas pedal for awhile to get her to warm up so she wouldn't stall on you as you tried driving (had some fun times with this) got old...fast. A rebuilt carb was in order. Now she starts and runs without issue or hesitation. I also put the passenger wiper arm back on, got new blades, took the american flag off the dash, removed the old diner/picnic table material from the door handles, fixed the door handles, fixed the dim dash lights, got a big Vanillaroma tree air freshener thanks to Mitch's recommendation, removed a bunch of unused wires and what not from under the hood, replaced some hoses, and some other little things I'm probably forgetting. A couple weekends ago the orig front springs that had been cut were replaced/upgraded. Stock height in the front...well, minus the 2 inches the dream beams dropped it. Last week, with a huge thanks to Derek, all new stock sized tires were added. Today I flipped the front shackle on the rear leafs back over to where they originally were and upgraded some worn out hardware. I also added a cheap seat cover and a cig lighter well so I can actually charge my phone. Anyway, I'm probably forgetting something, but here's how she sits as of now. Sorry Clay. ...dat wheel gap tho! Future plans include either a roll pan or new rear bumper, front end parts and an alignment, all new interior pieces that aren't red, swapping in the 4 speed, and possibly a real paint job complete with a crap ton of body work. We'll see on that. For now I'm having a blast driving this thing and USING IT!
  13. For all the childish bullshit that some of you spew on here and all the nut swinging/dick flapping that goes around involving inaccuracies and asinine assumptions... ...y'all need to step up your game because Grant just raised the bar. I didn't :lolguy: but I def .
  14. Firestone Winterforce 215/70r15. PM an offer if interested. Pretty much all tread left. They're what Clay had on the rear of "Cleetus" and are no longer on "Elliot".

    Sig Sauer

Solid advice. Laser is tacticool and worthless for CCW IMO and in my training. Sig's are damned fine firearms. IMHO they're not better than fine firearms that cost far less. I feel they, like some others, are priced far higher than they're worth and folks buy them for the name. Just my experience though. YMMV.
  16. Storage? But it was out when I was there and that was dead in the middle of winter. Ready for warm cruisin' days. Linc would be great for that.
  17. Oh, and if Cleetus and the Caddy are in the carport where's the lincoln?
  18. Looking good so far man. I dig the roll pan.
  19. Awesome. Nice pickup, pun intended. Like what you've done with it so far.
  20. K, yeah, neat....but what about that tank?
