  1. Thanks. Let me know if that changes soon.
  2. I'm sad to have to sell it. Was making decent progress, then a baby came along. Need to replace this and the Hyundai with an Expedition or Suburban to use as a hauler, farm truck, hunting truck, etc. Need more room than a standard cab provides, otherwise I'd definitely keep it.
  3. Hate to do this but my needs have changed and a classic "tee-ruck" (as Clay says) doesn't fit into my plans at the moment. It's a K10 (FT 4x4, works great) with a Cheby 350 and a TH350 automatic tranny. No clue on the miles since it's only 5 digits, but the ODO reads ~49K. Starts and runs great. Carb needs adjusted (high RPMs), and I'm going to try and get to that soon, but it runs like a top. You're car guys so I won't post the price of everything I put into this, and I know I'll never see all of that back but here goes. The good/replaced within the last year (all new, not refurbed or junk yard parts): - Full true dual exhaust system, headers included, with Percy's gaskets. - Michelin 31" tires. - Rear drums completely rebuilt, new shoes. - Front rotors, calipers, pads. - Master Cylinder - Air filter. - Plugs and wires. - Battery. - Battery cables. - Headlights. - High beam foot switch. - Tail light lenses. - Wiper blades. - Wiper switch. - U joints on rear drive shaft. - Heat works great. - Previous owner put in a new alternator. - Will come with an extra set of exhaust gaskets, new wiper motor (current one works, just doesn't always shut off right away), and a new transmission dipstick and tube. - Has a working spotlight (not sure what you'd use it for, but it's fun). The Bad: It's a '78. Was in the process of restoring. Body has rust (see pics) but frame is solid. It is usable, but it's definitely a project. Won't lie about that. I was driving it 60+ miles a day until I got a beater Hyundai to save on gas. Fuel gauge doesn't work right and sometimes not at all. Haven't looked into what is causing this yet. Dash is cracked and the seat is torn, hence the cover. Speedo is off about 10MPH. Shift linkage may be bad. It's hard to get it to shift out of park most times. It's an old restoration project so use common sense and you'll understand what you're getting. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=778&pictureid=6524 More pics here. $1,000. Feel free to talk cash or trade. As some for sale posts commonly say, the worst I can do is say, "no thanks."
  4. Then my apologies. It was taken verbatim from 401Clay.
  5. thumbup.jpg Let's hope they approve my submission. We'll make CB interweb famous.
  6. POSTING FOR A FRIEND. My buddy loves this car, but needs a good truck or tractor for the farm. Feel free to contact him via the ad. He's asking $5,000 OBO. http://images.craigslist.org/00G0G_gaMs61wT4Ot_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00W0W_hL0L7ag99QG_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00V0V_2mJdYLlpIaS_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00W0W_8JcQN2rdUSQ_600x450.jpg CL ad
  7. This. Paid $500 on sale a few years back (listed at $599 then I believe) for the wife's CCW. Great pistol, great price. Wish I had the cash.
  8. LaNasa does phenomenal work. Got a chance to see him in action years back with Ohio VW.
  9. Plus, how cool would it be to be like, "Indoor range with a bunch of people you don't know? Nah...I know a guy."
  10. Why is it wives these days weren't taught by their fathers at an early age to shoot/hunt? I got lucky. My SO grew up learning to shoot/hunt. Never a worry when she has a firearm. Safer than a lot of guys I know.

    Walking Dead

The SO and I agree, while we love Daryl (who doesn't), that was a slow episode. I like seeing Daryl break down and show he's human and learn a little of his past, but man, let's go. They're gonna end this season with some peeps getting to Terminus and make us wait until next season to see anything develop...and we'll all watch then too. The show IS a drama though and TWD was originally written with the premise that it's not your typical zombie slayer film. It's about what happens to humankind in the apoc. Not about a rogue team that kills anything and everything and the movie ends with a cute sunset over a land full of zombie bodies.
  15. This. There's a trick to mine though.
  16. "I don't want to go back out there." lol

I recommend a new cloth for sanitary reasons.
  18. You ever pay to see a movie?
  19. Didn't look at that, but regardless, different pickups for diff applications (obviously). Those are nice though. Understand that. I rarely use mine now either. I also plan on getting a MM sometime in the future.
  20. Great bass. Love my 89. Wish I had the extra cash, but I'll spread the word. Check your pickups. I used my pbass for contemporary worship for years. I now primarily use my Ibanez 405qm.
