  1. People got several years older is my guess.
  2. Kind of cool story http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pPTPTUAA11I/UoOd_1vVreI/AAAAAAABkiw/Gl1PO2VJUsQ/s1600/the_real_story_behind_a_buried_ferrari_01.jpg
  3. This. I still love the IS300. This as well.
  4. indeed. Good to see this after the fire. Nice recovery.
  5. At each end where the heads are?
  6. Oh yeah...they didn't even take the change form my ash tray. Hahaha
  7. OP is a good guy to work with. GLWS Ryan.

  10. Haha. I wouldn't recommend it, but I was lucky. I obviously didn't mean to, nor do I make a habit of it. Today my paystubs are electronic, I don't have checks, and there's nothing in my wallet to steal, so whatever.
  11. Can I get my truck dipped? Looks good. I have seen it but personally haven't had anything done.
  12. ^ This. When I lived in Cbus someone busted the window in my XJ and stole my old, used CD player...leaving my checkbook, wallet, and pay stub behind. Kids...
  13. FTFY. Ground clearance is key.
  14. Indeed I do. When I dropped my first 100 lbs it was to enlist as a USN EOD or Seabee. Life/Christ (I know some don't believe, and that's ok) had a different path in mind than I did. This isn't about me though, it's about all of the brave men and women who give all so that we might have freedom.
  15. From a grateful American to all who have served. Some names I know personally: CMSgt William Nelson, USAF EOD (RIP) Sgt Harold Nelson, Army (RIP) LCpl Adam Peak, USMC Mortarman (RIP) Sgt Drew Hudson, USMC Mortarman LCpl Peter Laux, USMC Machine Gunner SSgt Jimmy Laux, USN Corpsman (Retired) Ssgt Theresa Laux, USN Corpsman (Retired) Sgt Amy Rawlins, Army MP (Retired) Sgt Andy Wilson, Army Airborne Sgt Andrew Otero, Army Green Beret (Retired) Spc Brad Otero, Army Airborne Chris Beatty, USN Seabee (Retired) Chris Beatty Jr., USN Seabee Morgan Rutherford, USAF ...and I know a few on here are serving/have served. Thank you to each and every one of you. God bless you all.
  16. $100? $150? Even $80? Pssh! http://www.zennioptical.com Input prescription, get $8 glasses. And before anyone craps all over this place, my wife and I have been wearing $8 glasses for over 6 years no with no problem. I buy them 2-3 pair at a time and if the break or I lose them, who cares? Toss on another pair. When I'm at 2 pair, I order at least one more. Always have 3 pair available. Only broken 1 pair thus far though. Prescription is great. Wearing them now. Last time I went in for an eye exam showed them to my optometrist, explained that I used (at the time) my insurance to cover contacts and paid $8 for glasses, and nobody in the office could believe it. Said they looked fine. You're all welcome.
  17. Next if Steve doesn't get the sewing machine.
  18. That has been my thoughts from the beginning. I do have one freind, former Army MP, who keeps a HP 9mm stashed in her basement. It's an absolute last resort pistol. She said, "if all else fails I can throw it at someone." Although with as many years in the military she has and her deployments/training experience, a Glock 26, a Beratta 92fs, a HD 12G, and a rifle, I doubt she'd ever need to get to that.
  19. Limp wristing. Poor technique. This. Also, anyone else noticed OP is looking for a "compact" 9mm and we're talking about HPs? Those things are compact...cinder blocks.
  20. True. Not all grenades explode when you pull the pin either, but the vast majority of them do. I do have a friend that had a HP .380 given to him by a fam member. We shoot it for kicks and gigs sometimes and it's never failed. The other 5 I have tried though have. Frequently. That's not a good enough percentage for me personally to buy one. My 995ts however was one of the most reliable firearms I have ever owned. Wish I didn't sell it.
