Thanks, fellas.
Earlier today before podcasting Kev and I helped him get the driver side door and the mirror on and moved the bed into the body work/paint prep "bay".
I'll be out and about tomorrow. If you or anyone else needs 9mm I'll see what they have.
That Balvenie is just sitting on my liquor cabinet waiting for ya.
Check N82 Tactical.
Nope, but someone may be passing through. That's why I stated that here, on this open forum, where a lot of different folks read/contribute.
Also, why would you ever travel for anything that is in low supply without calling ahead?
Well, the first "cruise" happened today...kinda. We got the hood installed. Told dad it was time to drive it. Obviously it's not done and we were worried about the lack of a bed allowing rocks to be thrown up from the rear tires so he just backed it out and drove it around the property. The engine has ran in the past but today was the first time the truck was actually driven and moving on it's own power in over 3 decades. We both got a little emotional thinking of how excited papaw and granddad would have been had they still been with us, but overall we were all grinning ear to ear.
Historical tag only came as a single rear plate and cost me a one time fee of $25. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Front plate LOL. Annual renewal LOL. Fun go fast vehicle worth driving LOL.
Also, who cares if it wouldn't? He could leave it there and lose 4 more for the price of a $10k SxS.
That being said, his Tracker is an adorable alternative for not being able to handle a Jeep.
Kidding. Love ya gerg. You and yer giant head. Gabe.jif
The bed and rear fenders are getting cleaned up and prepped for paint next. The goal is to be done before Pumpkin Run in October but I think we're just a couple months out.
The seat is done and installed. This was also 100% done by dad with a little assistance from my brother and I. We looked at the orig seat make up and materials, sourced our own, and voila. Now the interior is almost complete.
I don't know who needs to hear this...but someone mentioned liking wheated bourbons and I recommended Bernheim. I did not say/claim it was a "wheated bourbon". I recommended a wheat whiskey to someone who said they liked "wheated bourbons". ;)
Majestically forged.
In all reality all body parts are original aside from the floor pans, a cab corner, and 2 other small areas on the cab. Hood, fenders, bed, etc, are 100% original metal.
Ha! Thanks. You're gonna be waiting awhile.
Nobody claimed it was.
Haven't had JTS but AAA is far better than AA IMO and for the price it's hard to beat. I agree with ya there.
100% agree on all except Old Bardstown since I've never had it. Can't say either way. Of those listed I think Rebel Yell is the weakest. It falls flat IMO.
Yup. HH makes some fine whiskeys. It's the reason I even snagged the Bernheim. I'd never heard of it, saw it was from HH, and thought, "can't be too bad." Now I love it.
...I may go grab another bottle today.
