  1. www.lasotaracing.com E-Mail Don. Just tell him Brandon w/ the 97 convertible referred you.
  2. I think I replied to everybody's questions in PM. If I missed it, please shoot me another PM. Thanks!
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2486689854 If anyone has any questions PM me or something. I'm easy to get ahold of. Thanks!
  4. Someone out there saw the whole thing without a doubt. Hopefully they have the balls to come forward and do the right thing.
  5. Yeah I'm gonna run out to Jeg's today and see what they have. Hope the stuff ain't too expensive because I'm pretty much broke after this S-Trim install and tune. smile.gif
  6. There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance...
  7. You say she IMs you first whenever you're on, so see what she has to say. Be yourself, be a nice guy. Just don't specifically ask her out on a date. Wait for her to slip something in there like "so when are we going out agian?" or something like that. When she does that, be the grown up. Don't play these stupid kiddy games that women like to play. Be straight forward about it then, like "i don't know, *insert something you'd like to do here* so if you'd like to join me i'd love to hang out with you again" or something like that. Overall, be a nice guy. Don't be an ass and try to play the games she's playing. If she wants a guy that plays games, she may be looking for something that's not you.
  8. She's old enough to know what's going on then. One of two things are happening. 1. She's very interested in you, and just playing games with you. 2. She's not interested at all and is for some strange reason again playing with you. Solution: Let her make the next move. Just go do whatever it is you do, and wait for her to either call or come over, or something. If you try to push too hard it will scare her away. Don't even message her first on IM or anything. smile.gif Good luck.
  9. How old was she? And how old are you? These are very key things that will answer your question. smile.gif
  10. Oh, one other thing I wanted to mention also about my dyno was that I was very impressed with the tuners. They spent 4 hours tuning my car because the MAF in there was so strange from Pro-M and they didn't even charge me extra or anything. They even did some little corrective labor on the car when it would screw up during a pull. I went with LaSota Racing and I'll be going back there next time I need a re-tune. I was very pleased with their customer service and their overall workmanship. Anytime I need a question answered I just shoot Don an E-Mail and he gets right back with me. Thanks a lot you guys!
  11. Thanks for the referral, I'll check those out.
  12. Well I'm back from the dyno. We spent 4 hours on the dyno just tuning my car. The MAF was a pain in the ass but they got it. Had a few complications along the way which I'll need some advice from you blower guys on here in a minute. First of all I was dynoing on a Mustang dyno, and the tuners estimate that the #'s would be around 10% higher on a Dynojet. I don't remember the torque, but on one pull it put down 433rwhp @ 7,000RPM. She made between 10 and 11psi. I have a graph here that we printed out at the end on one of the weaker runs where it put down 415.7rwhp/408.5rwtq. So ultimately I'm quite pleased with the power. On to the crappy part. During the dyno we popped off the coupler that holds the intake tube to the throttle body after one run. We re-installed it and went about the tuning. Later it actually tore the coupler when letting off on another run and the tuners recommended new and higher quality hose clamps along with a replacement coupler. So I need a couple questions answered. 1. Where would be the best place to get a good high quality 4'' coupler along with some new hose clamps that are equally high quality? I don't want to order replacement from Vortech because it takes too long and I want something of higher quality. 2. Obviously there is a lot of pressure from the blower that's blowing this tube off and causing the excessive stress to it. I may need another bypass valve. Where would be the best place to get one, and what else do I need with it? Is it a relatively easy install to have a mechanic install a second bypass valve for me? Thanks, look forward to hearing your responses. [ 01. August 2004, 12:23 AM: Message edited by: Razorback ]
  13. It sounds like he also thinks he's losing compresssion or has taken some internal damage on his motor? Either way, when he comes into the money, I'd highly recommend a forged rebuild.
  14. Those CR #'s don't look too bad. Similar to mine and mine was just rebuilt, although I didn't have a valve job done on the heads before hand so I may just have a couple leaky valves. As long as the lowest compression cylinder is within 15% of the highest compression cylinder you're doing alright. What's wrong w/ Chad's car though? What's it doing? Last you told me was that the bearing on his blower froze up and damaged the head unit but that Paxton or SHM would warranty that. Is it something new now?
  15. Really? I might begin to participate if there's one for races at the track where ET is the deciding factor.
  16. I've had RR for about 5-6 years now and never had much of a problem until my original modem just flat out took a shit on me. RR replaced the modem with a brand new one, and I'm back up and super fast again. I love RR. Have you had a tech come out to the house for a visual inspection? Make them replace your modem if they check the cables and ensure nothing is clipped or damaged. If they won't replace the modem, drop them and switch to someone else.
  17. See sig. Should be able to drop another second off this year once the blower's installed.
  18. How old is your modem? If it's brand new then it's on their end or you got a bum modem. I had it happen to me a while back to my 5 year old cable modem and the modem was just starting to take a shit on me. Replaced the modem and no more problems. Low signal strength in many cases indicates a packet loss condition. This is where the modem has to re-transmit its data several times before it gets to its destination. This slows down browsing and gaming because the modem has to work harder. If the modem is the problem it's then what happens is that it's not strong enough to get the packet to the destination which results in again, packetloss. Have a tech come out and check everything. After all you're paying them for this shit.
  19. Paige looks killer. Great pics. Is it her? Who knows, but they still look good. smile.gif

    New Guy

    Welcome to the board.
  21. Great numbers dude. Those Machs are very strong. The higher compression really helps a ton along w/ the head design.
