As long as he stays off good radio stations like the Blitz he can go wherever he wants, and I hope he stays there.

Anything dental work can fix, or is it a total loss?

I know the BP thing is a big conspiracy, so I've stayed away from BP since I've been able to drive (not once have I ever put BP in any car I've driven) out of fear of it being true, so if it's not true, I'm not trying to start an argument. smile.gif With that out of the way, I generally will go to Speedway, Certified, or UDF. I have no problem putting Shell or Sunoco in there, and I head to Citgo for my race fuel, but for everyday driving I generally put Speedway and UDF in there as those are the stations I pass most frequently.

Slap a Roots blower on yours, and you'll have very similar torque numbers. smile.gif You just need a forged bottom first.

Be glad you weren't watching it. smile.gif Hopefully they can regroup. I'd rather see them play horribly one game like this past Saturday and get beaten just enough to rub their noses in it and hope they regroup. I do not want to see them lose to the big dogs.

I couldn't agree more. Did you notice that they ran Ross for one or two plays in the 1st quarter and as usual he gained nothing and then was benched? Pittman came in and put up some yards for a change, but the passing game just wasn't there until the 4th quarter, then they blew the OT play. I hope to see much much more of Pittman. He can get through the holes. Ross can't.

Hey John (Venomss), what nitrous kit are you running with yours? Just kinda curious how that's working out w/ your blower, and did you require a flip chip to run the nitrous?
-
How much are you making, and what shot? If I remember right, you're running the NX EFI Wet kit like the one I used to have right? Best run at Trails?

Mine put down 433rwhp/408rwtq on a Mustang dyno which dynoes 10-15% lower than the standard Dynojet dynos that most people use (and in fact that Passen uses -- I've dynoed there before). When you take that 10-15% into consideration I'm making somewhere in the ballpark of 470-500rwhp, and yes it's very streetable. Drives just like a stocker until I get into boost...then it's somewhat...different. [ 04. October 2004, 12:24 AM: Message edited by: Razorback ]

Yellow is awesome on stangs, but so is black and red, and your black already looks great. You may consider just having whatever damage you have done to the car touched up or just that section re-painted black as it would save you a lot of money since you've spent so much on the car already. Just a thought.

I just always park mine in parking lots out in the middle of BFE. Not so far out to where my car stands out due to it being completely alone, but far enough out that people KNOW they can find closer parking spots (people are so predictably lazy that we can use that to our advantage, heh). I'd rather walk an extra couple minutes and know nobody will park next to me. I agree on parking on roads though. That I do *NOT* do.

I agree. I've felt that way for quite some time.

Most of the time consistent backfiring when quick shifting is due to a leaky exhaust sucking in oxygen when the pressure is relieved and that oxygen, when combined with any left over fuel in the exhaust and the heat of the pipes can ignite it which is the backfire you hear. Some have also said it's just something that happens with offroad exhaust because you're not getting rid of all that crap with the cats because they're not there anymore, but mine does it occasionally and the majority of my exhaust system is welded, so maybe that's it. Also X-Pipes are more raspy than H-Pipes, and a an X-Pipe with a chambered muffler like a Flowmaster usually will produce the sound you describe. Girlfriend has a BBK offroad h on her 98 Cobra with flowmasters and it sounds awesome. Maybe you should swap over to an H. I have BBK LTs on mine as well, and feel like BBK does make a quality product, so I would definitely recommend their h-pipe to you. Good luck.

Well, mine is very streetable but hooks up like a mofo. Basically you just need axles and a carrier that you don't have to worry about breaking. The next thing you need is a set of slicks and some 15'' rims to mount them on. A good line-lock kit is also recommended for those nice long burnouts at the track. I have a Hurst Roll Control kit from Jeg's ($160 or so) and it works like a charm. I currently have 28 spline moser axles on mine (which may still very easily break under enough stress) and my stock differential which could very easily blow apart when I hit the track in the spring time. If you want to avoid possible breakage, I'd suggest a good 31 spline carrier and moser 31 spline axles. For slicks I have 15x10'' Weld Prostars with MT ET Streets (26x11.5). I drop the tire pressure to ~11psi at the track, do a good 6-8 second burnout and dump the clutch at the desired RPM. So far I haven't been able to break them loose on the line. Granted I haven't launched higher than 4k but that's because I know I'll start breaking my drivetrain. Hope that helps a little bit.

You may be right I just heard that on some other messageboards. It may still be in pre-order status and may not come out until November.

Currently I've been playing Halo and FarCry the most. I have Doom 3, but wasn't very impressed with it (if anyone is interested in it, PM me as I have it boxed up right now) I'm very much anticipating Halo 2 which actually came out today for X-Box (and I hate the X-Box) so I'm just really hoping Halo 2 is released for PC ASAP.

I had a wet kit on my car for 3-4 years and it was a good experience overall. As far as filling, I know of a few different places. Hensler Racing (Reynolgsburg area) Floyd's Hot Rods (Groveport Area) All Jeg's locations (they overcharge heavily so I'd recommend one of the first two). Good luck.

Amy, my car was tuned by LaSota Racing here in Columbus if you need a tuner recommendations? They use SCT software and I've been pleased with mine thus far. I've had mine back for about 2 months. Car runs a little rough when started cold so I always drive her easy until she gets to running temperature (180+), but once she does get to running temperature she drives better than when she was stock. Just a thought. Shoot me a PM if interested and I'll be happy to refer you.

Really sorry to hear that, especially if you're already going through some problems with getting the car running right.

Glad she's behind bars. She thought she was above the law....WRONG! Bake your cakes in your prison cell bitch!

Yes, I believe you can retract your bid, but you can receive negative reviews from it from ebay or the seller. I've never retracted a bid so I can't speak from experience. Maybe someone else on here has though.
