  1. The 96-04s also had the hypereutectic internals that suck. Even the 96-04s are a time bomb on boost without a forged bottom. The pistons and rings just are not designed for the type of pressure boost creates making them very prone to cracking. You can throw a blower on any 96-04, but it's just a ticking time bomb that you never know when it's gonna go. There have been isolated cases out there of stockers running on boost for years and years, and then others, that even with a good tune, blow up within a couple months, so it's always a good idea to do a forged rebuild before a blower on these motors, or at the very least have a fund sitting in the bank for when that sucker goes, because it WILL go, it's just a matter of time. smile.gif
  2. Yep. The only MAC product I'd recommend (have one on my car).
  3. He was not bad at running the ball, kinda like Krenzel although Krenzel did better at actually gaining yardage, but yes I didn't think Bellisari was a bad athlete, just a bad quarterback. It seemed like whenever the game was on the line he couldn't get it done. There were a few times (like you mentioned) where he actually came through, but more often than not they fell apart with him @ QB. I was glad when he graduated and left OSU. Do you remember when he got that DUI on the eve of the Michigan game so Krenzel and McMullen played? And I remember I thought it was funny because the backup QB's won that game and I don't think if Bellisari had been in there it would've turned out the way it did, ya know?
  4. I was actually hoping they would get shut out today. They didn't deserve to have any points on the board playing the way they played. Only player on that team I didn't lump in with the rest was Hawk. I wasn't surprised at all when he was the 'player of the game' for OSU.
  5. He should've been playing a completely different position.
  6. If you can't use yours out of your V6, send me a PM. I *MIGHT* be able to find my old one. Somewhere in the garage (removed it about 5 years ago).
  7. I remember him from a few years ago. Worst quarterback I've ever seen. Zwick is doing better than him this year (not saying much) than when Bellisari was a Senior, lol. Anyway I agree w/ you. Wisconsin has a much better team overall. How about that game today? I don't think OSU could take the ball away from a middle school team today, and if they did, they'd fumble it within 5 yards...jeez. Very depressing game for OSU fans.
  8. Yeah, I can't remember who they sued. I remember reading the story on CNN and a guy on one of the Mustang boards I frequent had the video clip of this kid doing light saber moves as his avatar!
  9. lol. That kid's parents will probably sue again. smile.gif
  10. Oh I hate Trails, they just happen to be the best thing within a 30 minute drive for me which is kinda sad when you think about it. If only Norwalk were closer...
  11. Lookin' damn good. I'm normally not into the nipple piercing thing on chicks, but damn they sure look good on her!
  12. You and me both Joel. Really itching for it. I don't want to wait 3 years like the first Halo...
  13. Oh, I wasn't doubting you, it just looks SO bad that it appears to be photochopped.
  14. Looks photochopped. smile.gif
  15. Sorry to hear that man. I got into a fender bender on Monday night when a lady pulled out in front of me. Hope you're okay and get your car fixed quickly!
  16. graemlins/thatfunny.gif @ this thread
  17. Couldn't agree more. Wish they'd get rid of that guy.
  18. Need more ass pics. smile.gif Best ass in the world on that girl, or at the very least, competing.
  19. Sorry, never been out to the west store, and only filled a couple times at the othe two Jeg's shops due to their high prices, so I just assumed they also did the fills at the west store as well. Thanks for clearing that up.
  20. My stock plastic POS Bosch 103 bypass valve that came w/ the Vortech didn't have enough capacity for my boost levels (apparently Vortech rates the stock plastic one up to, but not exceeding 10psi). So as a result of my boost levels I was popping the discharge tube off the car when letting off the throttle at redline (happened on the dyno once as well as on the street). So anyway, the fix for this was to upgrade this stock valve with the Bosch 114 which is metal internal and much stronger as well as faster reacting. We also added a SECOND bypass valve for added room to grow with regard to boost, and this second valve was also a Bosch 114 valve. I also upgraded the boost side connections to T-Clamps, but that was probably unnecessary, but I'm glad I did it. Anyway, the link to the valves I'm using is here: http://www.greedspeed.com/products/prod_details.aspx?prod_id=1694&app=148&app_desc=2003-2004%20Audi%20A4%20Cabrio%201.8T&cat= I'm very pleased with these. Hope this helps.
  21. Well, the '99s have a returnless setup, and I've heard the returnless boys have had great success w/ the '03 Cobra tank/pump setup. I have a return style fuel system in mine and I'm running a 255lph in-tank and a 255lph in-line, putting 475-500 to the wheels. No problems yet, but I'm not sure what kinda room I have to work with. I'd suggest the '03 Cobra setup to you though because we all know it can support quite a bit.
