I can't agree more. There have been a few cars that I thought actually looked better before they went in than when they came out. The old Ford bucket comes to mind, minus the windshield that was nice.

If you warped the rotors, you're better off getting a new pair. Turning them is going to make them thinner and easier to warp again. Go get a set at AutoZone with a 2 year warranty and drive it like you stole it. If they warp again, take them back and get them replaced under warranty. Make sure to put some anti-seize down on the hub and rotor so the heat doesn't make them stick together again.

It's on the Hilltop 2141 W Broad St. I believe some other stores are looking as well, but we are looking for some PT help (around 32 hours a week) and probably 1 FT Parts Sales Manager (38+ hour a week). Pay is based on experience in retail, management, and in the automotive field. I don't do the hiring myself, but let me know your qualifications and I can give you my info as a recommendation and I'll let my district manager know about it. Bi-lingual is a HUGE plus.

This. It's all in your head. I was the same way as a kid. I thought all vegetables were gross and I wouldn't eat them at all. As an adult I've gotten over the whole "if I eat this I'll puke." Just try to keep an open mind. Smother them in ranch or whatever condiment you like the most. Hardly. Michigan does have the same Castle Doctrine that Ohio does. That means if someone gets in your car, comes in your house, etc. you have the right to defend yourself. If someone comes in my car door/window punching me repeatedly I'd have no problem in defending myself.

This is how I see it. A lot of shops don't really care, but some really do put faith in ASE cert techs. I've never taken a test that I wasn't reimbursed for, but honestly I wouldn't take them if I wasn't. They were never a huge deal to me and aren't difficult to get IMO. I have a couple that are about to expire in December that I don't plan on recerting b/c my employer now doesn't reimburse until you've been there a year. They don't even reimburse, they pay for them for you so no money comes out of my pocket. Once I get that year I'll probably recertify them and I'm not even a tech anymore. I'm on the parts side now, but they will still pay for any ASE certs.
