also, hey BM'er fans... what BMW's from 1999-2007 were turbocharged?
-
if M3's are out of my range... how would and M5 be within range? mayeb i read it wrong,??? Ragtop - not an Audi fan, just never liked the bodystyles, sorry bro
-
what abotu the 99-05's? e46 is one of them right?
-
The BMW is also the furthest from reach. And its not as if i am a BMW fanatic by any means... i am a 335i fanatic...
-
so those years are e46, i get it now... kinda ^^^ whats the body code for the 06+
-
I really liek the 05' and up body styles for BMW!!!
-
I'd take a "car build" stipend handout if i was given one... If you cant admit it, get out!!!
-
Lets get back on track guys, everybody has made great points (or at least valid)... I don't want to get into practicality discussions, i want opinions on the cars listed, or suggestions on similar cars on the list!!! Is there any cheaper alternative to the 335i??? That car looks fucking sick!!1 If only i could figure out how to afford this... http://images.eurotuner.com/features/160_0707_14_z+2007_bmw_335i_coupe+front_view.jpg http://images.eurotuner.com/features/160_0707_05_z+2007_bmw_335i_coupe+side-view.jpg

I was asking for opinions, i never said i'd promise to buy the one that peopel most liked!!! The hard thing here is that everyone thinks that i need something practical... and i don't. the pinstripe pants line is priceless though, i laughed at work and everyone looked at me! Yeah, NOW... if only i could figure out a way to swing the 335... it would be great. Antwon - Yeah dude, i can't stand the FRC's... To the man who made the "lease a Camry or Accord"... - Not a shot, someones gonna hand me 400.00 a month for a car and i'm going to waste it on a "Mom Car"... no thanks
-
a few more points... 1. i do not like the styling of the trans-am camaro bodies, no offense! 2. Every Affordalbe C5Zo6 i see is the hartop... And i deffinately want a corvette hatchback! I very-much dislike to look of the removable hardtop as well as convertibles. Someone made the point that the EVO looked kinda "toyish" which just made me realize that it kind-of does, which really doesn't bother me. Liek i said, i'm looking for something that personifies me. Like i said, my business angle is "relationship building" without the "sell"... and i want my personality to be reflected in the car that i drive, just as it does in the way that i dress*** (which most consider tacky)... but it's me *** Cufflinks, french cuff shirts, shoes with buckles, pinstripe pants

Great question! Here are some reference points: 1. I don't do ALOT of driving, but i dont want to worry about mileage limits of a lease 2. My job requires absolutely NO TRAVEL, but i do like to do the whole "client wine & dine" Thing... so i will be driving around with the "Director of Clinical Services" and "high level management" of all major local hospitals. 3. the main use = transportation, but i like power. 4. fuck comfortable, fuck professional (even though i deal with big-wigs).... every car listed meets my standards. I am extremely professional, I WANT my car to be an extension of my character.... not gain respect because it looks professional. i want that Hospital Director to say "man, i really like that bob guy, he's got panache and style"... its my angle

Backstory - I work for a company that is going to start paying for my car in a few months. personally, my budget (for what my company will give me monthly) will equate to about 5000 a year (400.00 a month)... i've never had a car payment and i'd like to keep it that way. I assume that i could get a 4 year loan for a 5-6 year old car... so i did the math (5000x4 = rougly 20k) So that's how i figured out my budget, which is 20k... and assuming that i will be able to put about 3k down, i can afford a 23k car at no cost to myself. i will have to start paying insurance though, which isn't a big deal, so assume that insurance isn't an object. So the cars that i am thinking of would be as follows....keep in mind i will be buying used, and deffinately not leasing (mileage will be blown out of the water) 1. 03 Cobra (18-22k) 2. C5 vette (19k-26k) 3. Mitsu Evo (18k-22k) 4. Acura TL (18k-25k) 5. g35 coupe (19k-23k) 6. toyota Supra (20k-25k) Anyhow, that's where i'm at right now, there are also other cars that i like... but i feel the ones above are within reach And the dead ringer would be a BMW 335i, i might even be able to swign it if they gave me a 5 year loan... since it's like a 2007.... anyone think that this is possible? OPINIONS???

HRE are too expensive for me. And every pic that people posted are what i consider to be "all-too common" You know what, i just realized something... i'm in denial.... Basically, i keep wanting to see wheels with flare (japanese high end)... and all these wheels are so "american".... i have come to terms with it, fuck!!! i want to see the C5's with the wheels that 95% of a vette forum would say "those don't belong on that" (and im not referring to cheap skinny honda 17x7s or gangsta-ass 22's) ....you know, like.... show me some Work wheels on a corvette, Show me some AME wheels on vette, SHOW ME SOMETHING!!!! ^^^ I am searching as well on a daily basis, i just want the experience vette guys to "throw what they know" out there!!! Thanks guys! Vette with TE37's... even though you cant tell.... (disregard the wing) http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagames/NFS/speedhunters.com/Images/Mike%20Garrett/Random_Snap/vette1.jpg -

I respect your response, some of it is accurate. I don't want to start a fight. I'm going to choose to abstain...

even on street driving... potholes can be the biggest detriment. Cast knockoffs = brittle Potholes LOVE cast wheels Besides, just about all two and three peice wheels run with a pressed or spun barrel, very malleable!!!

wheel strength-durability matters, where's the thumbs-up icon?
