  1. Agreed on all, especially Ruf and Porsche... so one says them correctly
  2. Right... because Tein is a german company............................................................................................................................................................................................... You might be right..... if Tein was based/cultured in Germany....but it's not.
  3. 01 Chrysler Concorde.... i think its like 45 a month for insurance. My 1996 240sx is like 36 bucks a month Both are under my parents insurance. My record is pretty clean, and i get cheap insurance through my parents... but i think that ends.. even though im still technically with theirs you must be a baller then Right, that sound sucks.... i can't believe that you'd say that... if you don't want people to race you, don't buy a car that people are going to want to try and race... is this common sense? i'll live i do have a bit saved up, and will acquire more once i sell my 240sx. I graduated a year ago, no home, just renting in Grandview. I have a few thousand in student loans but nothing huge.... I guess i just don't want to spend 800.00 per month on a car...
  4. someone else psot pics, they are blocked from my work place
  5. i agree, although the people at Tein USA call it "tee-en"
  6. ^^^ as it may be fast/quick whatever, i'm not looking for soemthign that has the "perception" of a grandpa car
  7. Also, feel free to throw up any other words that are worthy, i'm sure there could be 10 pages alone on the word "Tein"
  8. I found a funny thread that was like 9 pages long on the correct way to say "Murcielago"... So i figured that we could have it out on virtually anything.... The popular vote was for something along the lines of: Mur - thee -el - ahgo (sounds a bit "lispy") ^^^ i refuse to believe that is correct...it osunds retarded the most common one i hear is Mur - see - el - ahgo (which i believe is wrong!) I am selfly-convinced that the correct pronunciation is: Murch - E - L - uh - GO (with a "ch" like in "church") Discuss....
  9. ^^^ that's exactly it!!! Its like "hey, here's 400.00 dollars a month to put towards a car"... do i try and keep it uder 400.00. or do i go all out, i don't want to go all out... well, yes i do, but i shouldn't
  10. 100 dollar tax free stipend per week (400.00 month) my boss does, i will be promoted to an equal position (geographically different location) like i said, they give you 400.00 taxfree per month (5200.00 year) which is actually about 6500.00 (minus taxes)... and then every month they ask for a mileage report... all work related mileage - hey, my boss told me that he writes down his daily drive.... oh well right?
  11. ^^^ ok, fine, my mind is made up, Veyron it is.... come on dude
  12. ^^ that's what is tearing me apart... i want what I want... But i know that it will lack proffesionalism if i buy what i want
  13. THANK YOU SOMEONE!!!! I might just have to buy a daily..... I have wanted a vette for a while, secretly
  14. good valid points, thank you very much!!! As for mileage, they pay for it, i guess that includes maintenence. They pay for every mile a drive that involves work (to work, from work, client appts, company oriented meetings) I get reimbursed monthly. Your first point is what i am coming to realize. Being a kid 1-year out of college 400.00 a month seems like a shit-ton of money. But in perspective, i see that 400.00 is very average for a car payment, i guess it's ebcause i see all these tv commercials for 299.00 a month for a new accord, or 360.00 a month for a Acura TL.. the reality is, its never quite that cheap... and when you BUY a used car 400.00 seems like the bare minimum... I REALLY dont want a car payment, i figured if i could find a car for 400.00... the insurance would still be 100.00-200.00 a month... and now its like, well, im going to spend 600.00 per month on a car PLUS 200.00 insurance.... its now like the 400.00 is null and void because i now must spend an additional 400.00 on the insurance and partial monthly payment. It could be worse though right? i could be paying 800.00 with no stipend... FUCK
  15. how come the insurance rates are so much higher if you only have one car?
  16. i dont get it... a forum for service cars? that's gay
  17. GIVE me the vitals on how you acquired the vette. 1. how old was the vette when you bought it (or brand new) 2. how much was the vette 3. did you put anything down/trade in (if so, what was the final cost) 4. how much was your loan for, how many years 5. what was the interest rate on the loan 6. what is your monthly payment 7. how much is insurance for that thing feel free to copy. paste, and pm me if you wish to remain private
  18. repost. the guy died actually, i feel bad
  19. i said that i didn't want to have a car payment, i never said that i couldn't afford it.
